If I were your girlfriend, I would've excused you if I knew of your condition. But since "I" didn't, that was a ultimate blow to the date.

haha, hoo boy.

1. When I was in school, I got a fair amount of attention- it'd be really obvious that a girl was flirting with me, it'd sail right over my head, then about half an hour later I'd be thinking "wait, hang on a minute, shit- that was pretty obvious". Still do it now to a degree.
2. Being kinda quiet or shy if I want to ask somebody out, and if that wasn't my intention, just being my normal jokey smiley self. The thing being that my normal conversation is often interpreted as flirting, which put me in awkward situations a few times :P
3. Not long after I turned 18, I suddenly ended up with pretty bad acne that wrecked my confidence, so I became more withdrawn for a while.
The acne's more or less gone now, but it left behind some light hyperpigmentation and scarring, which bugs me a little but not to the point it dents my confidence too much.

that was true for me,only I didn't realize it until years later.when I was school, I didn't even know about gender dating rules, I thought women
ask guys out, and guys ask women out at the same rate, wasn't until 2007,when I found out, that mostly men who do the asking.
I never got that stupid book, when I was younger.

I imagine the moment it dawns on you would be a seriously annoying facepalm moment. A bit like missing an appointment you had to keep because you were looking for your keys, and it's not til after it's too late that you realise...they were in your pocket the whole time! Like that, but worse.
