I agree.

In the show which I'm watching, it turns out that there are two people with AS.
As well as Matthew, there's a lady who has both AS and severe OCD.

8O Oh my gosh, Matthew.... "I don't need mouthwash for a date" ... that's just really not a good thing to say on public television.

The lynx thing was definately on s1e01 so this is what caused the confusion,

:-) You know what ? You're completely right.
Looking at it now, it was indeed Richard who I was thinking of.

 duhhhhhhh..... Sorry about that. I feel like a right pillock now.
Sorry for being so utterly confusing. (>,<) d'oh !

In my defence though it's been years since I last saw any of these, and I have had hardly any sleep today because of only getting to sleep at about 5 am and then having to get up early in the morning in order to go into town and talk to the CAB about debt collectors who have been pestering me undeservedly on behalf of a pack of scammers called 1&1 internet.
I couldn't get to sleep after that, and only got 2 hours of sleep the night before that.... so have probably had something silly like 6 hours of sleep in the last 3 days.

;-) And yes, I *completely* agree with people that Richard's segments are 100% cringe-inducing from start to finish.
... and what IS the deal with him and his mum !?!? 8O I mean, really ! !!

8O So, now I'm left wondering who the heck Michael is .... :D I guess I shall just need to watch that other episode and see !

My gosh yes, I'm stupidly tired right now.
I didn't realise how tired I was getting.
They shouldn't even let me on the internet in this condition really  LOL !
:-) I'm off to eat something and listen to some of an audio book, to help me relax and hopefully nod off to sleep.

Lets just say I was pretty certain I was right and I double checked before going to bed just to make sure.

The whole argument was a bit pointless though so I figured that the episode this happened wasnt a big deal.

Sleep tight

Was it an argument ?
I didn't think it was.

Thanks :-) I slept for ages.

Well, it seems I've highlighted yet another reason to be cautious about going on the Undateables.
If you're a guy then there's every chance that some people will get confused and mix you up with Richard 8O would it be fair to say that this is something most people here would want to avoid ?

English isnt my main language so the use of things like argument/discussion can get a little confussing at times.
Sorry about that.

Each person has their own reasons to try to appear on a show like this/ avoid it and I m trying to learn to respect other people´s choices

Oh, no there's no need to apologise at all.
I think that a lot of the english language is quite vaguely defined.

The reason that I asked is because something a little bit similar happened to me recently, where a friend called something an argument when I saw it as a discussion - or at worst a mild dispute.

It went something like this...

Me : I'm in a sulk because you've been stonewalling my Facebook message.
Him : I never did that.
Me : I sent you a message asking if you wanted to play MTG [using a program called Cockatrice], and FB says you saw it.
Him : If I'd got that message I definitely would have replied.
Me : (confused) but.... it's date stamped with when FB says you read it.... (sends message again) that's what I said before.
Him : I definitely never saw that. Anyway, arguing is getting us nowhere. Cockatrice is now discontinued, but I will look to see if I can find a different program which does the same thing.
Me: Okay.

I hadn't thought of it as arguing.... more establishing the facts of what happened.

:-) Getting back on topic though...

I have just enjoyed watching the follow-up programme for series 1.

It was interesting to see how everybody was getting on, a year after their initial appearances on the show.

Richard was still kind of a pillock, but less of one (I thought) than in the first show he featured in.
He does still seem to think that he needs a knock-out quantity of can-spray though.

Trying to get the season 1 catchup now.

Its a bit hard to find because it hasnt been uploaded to 4od I think.

Few hours to go and I should have the video.

Not sure what happened with your friend but he may have indeed ignored your message and tried to get you to focus on something else asap so that you didnt talk about the stonewalling for a long period

Even for people who haven't got AS, it often comes as a huge shock when a show featuring them is aired and they are exposed to the general public's reactions to it.... but by then the show is already made - and then there's no stopping it from going wherever it likes.
A short bus journey should be enough to convince you that you don't want to put yourself on screen for the general public unless you are making an awful lot of money for it.

I don't like to be compared to people with Down's and Williams' syndrome, so it's out of the question to me.

It's some kind of body-spray / deodorant / stink-cloaker.

The ingredients are rather toxic, and it's typically worn by teenage boys.

A lynx is a type of wild cat.

So perhaps the idea is "Do you want to smell like a wild cat ? Then wear lynx"

I think it's probably not on XBox Live 4OD, but you should be able to find it using a PC via the 4OD website.

I think that perhaps in this case there may have been a genuine FB glitch.
Another friend of mine says he never got a message which FB claims was both received and read.... and it's long had trouble with sometimes pretending that it's sent a message when it did nothing of the sort (although it never had the cheek to claim those had ever been read !).
It's good to know that the conclusion I jumped to seems logical, though.
:-)

Some trivia for you....

This is called Axe in almost every other country than the UK. Whilst it is the "Lynx Effect" in the UK it is the "Axe Effect" in almost every other country. The ads are just recycled, and over-dubbed.

Its axe if you are not from the uk I think.

Anyhow someone on the first season(not uploaded here by tequila) put way too much on for his first date. People found it hilarious
