One time, and thankfully the last. I personally think it was more that we met on here than on the dating site. Aside from him, I have not met anyone else. A couple of the guys creeped me out by finding my location and trying to pick me up without notifying me first. I didn't realize location services was active on my account.

Nice art! I wish I could find the subject matter so that I could actually do some art sometimes (I want to draw but never know what).

Thank you, random OP. :)
Same here. I actually haven't drawn anything like this stuff for awhile; haven't had the time or energy to want to spend 9 hours digitally coloring like I have in the past, lol. :p What stuff do you like to draw normally?

I like to draw figures mostly. I like fantasy art but subjects to draw rarely enter my head. P.s. What is OP?

Which brings me back to my original point: My life doesn't sound very interesting to an outsider

That's a good point. I struggle to "sell" things and make them sound interesting as well, especially myself. I don't think my life would be interesting to most. That's not a problem from my point of view and I wouldn't expect her life to be "interesting", either. But at the same time there must be something about the person that's interesting, otherwise why would you be interested?

They seem to want me to have ran the installer and have it all booted all up ready!

They're used to iPads now - just press the button (the only button) and it's ready to go. :)

OP is "Original Poster" or the person who started the thread. :3
Well, I've been stuck in my Pokemon phase for awhile. It kind of goes back-and-forth between different subjects. I think I might start drawing again; I'm going to try some art classes at a university I'm going it. It goes toward my Computer Science degree, and it's like the easiest thing in the world. :D

Are you saying my original post was random or are you saying I'm random!? Confused :? I'm not random!

Yes I keep looking for a new art class. I prefer unstructured art classes where people can just hang out and draw whatever they want and talk to each other but there are none in my area.

Nah, I'm saying you responding to my art rather than my post was random. :p

That is unfortunate. What kind of area do you live in?

OK that is a relief, thanks.

I live in Newcastle which is North East England. There should be decent unstructured art classes here but it's just finding them. All I can find are educational classes of a fixed length.

"Pokemon phase" - ha! I had the most intense Pokemon phase about 15. I actually imported an American edition of Pokemon Red long before it came out here (and thus lacked trading ability), and played through it primarily because it was an RPG which were my things - before I discovered books and programming, though I feel sometimes I should get back into it. But yeah, my obsession became well known at school after I discovered other people playing it post-UK release. I literally knew all the stats, all the pokemon, all the items, locations, everything and played Pokemon Silver long before everyone else. Innocent days...

Not yet. I've decided to stay away from them, because I lack proper social skills for that.

I met about ten that way ---- mostly from POF and datehookup. I post actrivities I like in my profile (walking, photography, hand holding, etc. ) and if I find someone with similar interests, I mention that in the first message. Also I look at those who viewed me. If any of them have something in common I message them. I usually get a reply back. But it's hard to find anyone compatible enough where I am.

Yeah. I was with someone over 3 years and we met on that okcupid site. I don't really like the site actually. She didn't really have much of a profile filled out, which I liked. Most people on there come off annoying to me if there's too much in there. But I realize it's probably very hard to convey yourself on a stupid profile. We just broke up and I just moved out though so I don't know how great it is at matching people. We had a "2% enemy" rating and a very high compability/friend rating. I actually do think maybe we were too alike since we are both maybe stubborn and always at eachother's throats and stuff. So I'm not sure about that site. I'd try it again though if I found anyone interesting but I'm wondering if it's better if you're not like, a super high compatibility rating.

No website can really understand "compatibility" because science doesn't understand human interactions to that degree. So I imagine it's just an indicator of similar interests, likes / dislikes with no guarantee of being right for each other.
