Mindgame and relationship shouldn't be in the same sentence. Especially in the context you're giving...really? You feel GOOD about threatening her emotions when she's already upset about something (ie her grades)? How about you try telling her the truth, heck, or even yelling at her the truth, that she's being a b***h to you, instead of being manipulative and threatening?

Ah whatever, her problem, not mine.

Agreed ^^ Not cool to threaten to leave someone who is obviously emotional already. Yes, I get that boundaries need to be set and she can't treat you like shite just because she's in a bad mood, but there are better ways to go about that.

Did sitting down after she'd calmed down and telling her it makes you feel like s**t when she dumps on you unfairly even cross your mind?

Sounds a bit over-assertive to me. Was there any need to deal with the problem in such an adversarial manner?

To be honest, some women like it, for example I knew a fellow who literally used to say "I like guys who crack my head" - a local term means guys who challenge her and never give a f- to what she says. :-/

And I knew a guy who every while removes the "engaged" status from his fb every time her fiancee complains about something, he did that like dozens of times, now they are married. :-/

So yea, it works with some type of women. Weird.

It's emotional and psychological abuse, and just because a woman hasn't left yet doesn't mean it's okay or that she won't ever.

Ample amounts of frustration and a lack of experience with serious relationships.

The only thing about it that felt good was the amusement at how it worked.

Yes, but she had been real domineering over me since the start of the relationship (and she later explained to me that she has a history of that), so I felt I needed to do something a little more "in your face" assertive.

Once again, I'd rather not get all PUA mode on women.

In my opinion, this could turn out really badly. It may work for you for awhile, but you will ultimately lose respect for her, if you haven't already. Why are you with her if you need to play mind games with her? That sounds dysfunctional to me. Do you love her? Do you care about her? Is this about just having a temporary relationship? I'd reevaluate it, if I were you, and move on if you are going to just constantly be frustrated with her treating you poorly.

Only done it once, you know. Besides, she's got a history of this kinda thing, if she's still working on fully kicking some old bad habits then fine. I asked my mom and sister about it and they don't feel that I went too far or anything so long as I'm not planning on making a habit of it.

I would like to play mind games on a girl, playing tic tac toe on tummy would be sensual...

Is it okay if I murder you with a fork?

No, I didn't. You said you were annoyed, basically, so I assumed it was a frequent occurrence. If it were a frequent thing, based on my own experience with this crap, I'd suggest moving on. All the best to you, Shau.

^ Well she's knocked it off with the domineering, so I'm honestly just looking at it as showing a bit of cock and balls to remind her that I'm not a wuss like her previous boyfriends, and that hopefully it'll be a rare occasion if ever.

Don't listen to women.

Actions speak. Not words.

What you did was not pick up artist anything. It was just playing a game like you said. That's what women want whether they say it or not.. To be taken on an emotional roller coaster because the nice guys are too boring. Why are her and her last boyfriends not together?

I think it's called emotional blackmail, or something like that.

This.

Also you have to sort out the root of the problem, if you want your relationship to be fine. Otherwise your just attempting to delay the inevitable.
