Gold digger caught on camera, how does it make you feel guys? Are the current generation of women really more celebrity and material obsessed or is it just this one individual?

Seriously? So noone can talk about what may or may not be gold diggers, but we're allowed to call men who disagree with you "promoters of rape culture?"

which now brings me to the OP and what I saw in the video.

This isn't the best example of gold digging. While we did see the guy in the not so nice looking car getting ignored by the lady, we also saw the rich looking guy get some attention. The rich guy even haggled the lady to get into the car, then he holds up traffic because the girl turned down his friend. A prank nonetheless, but the guy simply is an as*hole. The second video posted by Katiesboyfriend is a better example of gold digging.

can we not at least entertain the idea that she might have gotten into the second guys' car because she thought he was cute and wasn't attracted to the first guy? how do we know it was the car that made the difference and not the guy?

Attraction? Who knows? I simply pointed out the second guy haggled the girl. I can't see the girl's face nor can i hear her say much. What i did see was an a**hole in the car and i am sticking with that.

Would they have gotten in a strangers car if he was driving a combine harvester or a black van?

Everyone questioned him as to why he would let them in. A couple really had to be pushed, and I don't know what the one girl who took a photo with teh guy did since they never showed her get in. I'd say that it's easy to conclude that this guy can be more pushy, and that it would be harder to argue whether the girls were gold diggers or not.

As for getting into that car. I'd argue it's easier to see who in the lambo compared to a black van.

If someone offered me a ride in a Lambo or a Ferrari, I'd do it.....but only if I got to take it for a solo drive. Whoever offered me the ride could stand on the corner and wait for me to get back. That would demonstrate roughly equal sense to someone getting into a car, any car, with a total stranger.
