Abusing, harassing? all in the name of research? lol

Kinda reminds me of nazi researchers.

Yep, I think that's possibly true. Empathy to particular person is not my strong side - in fact it is one of my weakest sides :-(
I did it just to prove if the proposition "girls love rude guys" is true or not. And it is.
BTW almost everything medicine now knows about impact of supercooling and pressured drops on human organizm is the result of nazi researches' experiments.

I don't like where this thread is going, Echolalia, and I don't like what you are implying here:

"Single WP men who are single/virgin are unsuccessful with women are misogynist and they are unsuccessful because of that"
"Married WP Men are never misogynist".

That wasn't what I was implying. Your thinking is very black and white. So let me spell it out for you.

I've read a great deal of PUA material online, not just here, I've even hung out on PUA forums to truly understand what its all about. Here's what I see. Even on boards were this stuff is peddled as if it's the bible there are generally a handful of men (5 or so) who report great success with it. Who knows if they are telling the truth or not, and then there are the hundreds asking for further advice because they are getting nowhere with it. In my perspective, PUA and lack of success with women really do go hand in hand. Also every thread I've read on here in which some guy goes on about not being successful with women he also starts talking some crap about women are all this and that and biology blah, blah, blah...standard PUA fare. So my perspective is still PUA and lack of success with women go hand in hand. It's a correlation, that's what I said.

I also said that KraftieKortie is married, which he is, and his apparent lack of PUA mentality has something to do with that. I didn't say all married men are PUA free or all marriages are happy ones. That's your embellishment.

One more thing, really , for all of you here.... stop repeating things like "WP is the most sexist board on the net" ..etc, no it is NOT, this is a hyperbole, go see 9gag, youtube comments, reddit, comment sections in known newspapers, pua boards, go see any dating sites ' boards - and you'll find out the real sexism there in its most appalling form, it's everywhere.

Well that's your opinion. The sexism here is rife, I've been on reddit, PUA boards and just about everywhere inbetween. This one strikes me as being right up there in the sexism stakes. But if you want to say....no it's not sexism it's autism, well then there you go. I don't excuse poor perspectives because of autism. You're still fully functioning beings, still capable of rational thought. Therefore you can own your biases.

It would be better of instead of implying things like "single men on wp have sexist views..." - it would be much more fair if you NAME them, we had two men-hating members before and I was used to name them, say "Member X, Y ,Z are sexist" and why.

Shall I applaud?

Hang on, every person who's reported lack of success on here have done that? Have I ever done that when ever I've spoken about my lack of success? I don't recall that I ever have and yet I still don't have success.

Look at the first page of 20+ threads here, there are only 2 threads which are PUA-like: "Doesn't want to be in a relationship because of my career." (it wasn't really pua, but the OP mentioned biological wiring which you seem to consider pua literature...wtv), and "Any exp. with foreign wife from poor country?" and it's locked for good.

They are as frequent as in any love-dating board out there in then net.

She obviously has a ....well...a sous-entendu prejudice against single men in general, and think of them as potential PUA-vivid readers. As if, reading PUA is the only explanation why a man is chronically single, as if other factors (many which are inborn and hard to change) like lack of social skills, looks, circumstances, attractiveness...don't play any role.

Echolalia, not all single guys go to PUA boards.

Also, a man being in a relationship doesn't mean that he never bought into it or never went to pua boards when he was single, you simply can't measure it, I guess that once in a relationship he (the former pua reader) would stop having any reason to frequent those boards.

It happens on WP too, members who get married/engaged usually stop frequenting L&D, I recall a member called KenM, and he's maybe the most jaded and PUA-lover this board ever had, and he stopped coming here once he got a relationship.

I personally never delved into it, I've read couple of times some pua on front page and it's really all just marketing to sell some book or dvd; it's not real.

Yes clearly. Because I've made a handful of posts about not agreeing with PUA ideology. Incidentally, this thread was not going in this direction at all until you decided to pick up my post and make an issue of it. There were plenty of posts afterwards focusing more closely on the original topic. So to say you were not happy with the direction of the thread wasn't true, you were simply unhappy with what I posted.

PUA marketing tactic- Came across this six years ago on POF when signing out.

-Link says "Want to increase your dating?"
-Click on link. Some fellow named David DeAngelo asks "Have you ever had that experience where things are going so well with a women that you go ahead and ask for her number and she gives it to you? We all have, but you notice that when you do call, they never return it or text back?" Obviously that is the hook.
-"Well the reason why they didn't wasn't because they lost your number, or just didn't pick up. The reason was simply because they weren't attracted to you." Hits you with brutal honesty.
-"I have the secrets to help you. Click here to subscribe to my newsletters and you will have the opportunity to have access to my book as well." I decide why not. Then the newsletters come non-stop and each damn e-mail says the same damn thing over the course of the next two weeks in different words. Each time trying to tell you to be cocky and funny and to pretty much "neg" people. I'm in school at the time, so I decide to just put my focus on that instead.

3 years later, I find out here on this website that PUA is the term best used to describe people like him.

And with what I see, I have observed the following in relationships based on my experience.

1. Communication is vital. When you have an issue with your partner, go talk to them. Talking to someone else about that problem is considered cheating or betrayal of trust in a lot of circumstances (not going to list them here).
2. I have found that many people are looking for a constant in their life (Security net so to speak). I have unfortunately seen this more in women than I do in men. A lady will not leave a boyfriend whom she doesn't like until it is convenient for her to do so. When it is convenient is when she knows for sure that she can leave the boyfriend for a new boyfriend. If she can't get what is promised, she stays with the boyfriend because he is that constant she needs.
a. And guess what? The social conditioning behind finding a man that makes lots of money has something to do with this needing a constant.
3. My father always said "You fail to plan, you plan to fail." It is so true and works both ways. No reasonable person wants to date a guy or girl who has no plans to get a job, or secure any kind of income for the future. My gf even said herself that she would have walked away if she was convinced that I had no plan for a financially stable future. And a failure to act on this plan is probably going to guarantee she walks away too.
4. Women will always test you to make sure you are for real, being honest or that you will not compromise your integrity (ie, not getting tempted). If there was any reason for "s**t testing," that pretty much is the only time I ever see it.

I used to know a few guys like that in the "singles' bar" 70's. They tended to wear leisure suits and wear heavy pendants on their chests.

I haven't known many since.

I certainly don't ascribe to the ideology.

Pick Up Artistry is nothing more than snake oil. Much like the rest of the self-help industry. The more people like you take it seriously, the more money you make for PUA gurus attempting to market it as forbidden knowledge. It's only sexism if it actually gives men an unfair advantage, which as you can see from the PUA forums that it clearly does NOT.

Actually no he doesn't, from reading the post above you if that's who you are talking about. I don't see a single thing in there saying he's a devotee to PUA material. In fact he says outright he dismissed it.

He admits that career and financial plan of men is important for women, you and pj seemed that you call any guy who talks any of these...'observations' is part of the pua culture, or at least sexist.

Personal hygeine seems to be obvious even to WP members. I haven't seen anyone post things like "I shower every other week, why won't women come anywhere near me, or men for that matter?"...
You might be surprised at how many NT men seem to sincerely believe that being sweaty, dirty, and looking like they've slept in the woods makes them irresistible to women!

I dunno about you, but I know quite a few men who only shower like once every two weeks or something gross like that and still get tons of women.

EDIT: I hate to say that one of those guys I know is my roommate. He has 2 girlfriends (who are both okay with him dating the other girl), and like 10 other women who like him. He's autistic but you can't really tell. The thing that attracts these women, I guess, is his looks. He looks like a blonde haired blue-eyed Jack Black.

Also, be yourself is really dumb advice. Some people have been themselves for eons and it hasn't done anything.

Also, OP is missing the fact that men are not considered human beings, but human DOINGS. A man cannot be loved for who he is, but he can damn sure be loved for what he does and how much money he makes. Or, failing that, how good his social skills are.
