Victim blaming is no good. You're right about desperation but sometimes it can't be helped.

I also develop feelings easily. I can get a crush on somebody in just 30 minutes. However, I know my vulnerable point so I don't subject myself to situations where this is likely to happen before I know the girl well enough. A first date with a complete stranger is one of the worst scenarios that is likely to lead to a crush.

I thought it didn't happen often to you and you didn't like dating.

Well, desperation isn't helpful, so you better come up with some better approach if you want a relationship.

I haven't done any dating. I don't need to in order to be able to figure out that a first date with an attractive woman has a high risk for a non-reciprocated crush. I don't even need a regular date in order for that to happen. As younger, I had selective mutism and I didn't talk to anybody that I didn't know very well, and that included women. That also meant I couldn't do dating, so I figured out alternatives that worked much better for me. When I eventually had overcome my selective mutism, I already had working strategies with women, and so I didn't feel I needed to change those because I could talk to strangers. I didn't even have an idea that others had completely different strategies at that point.

Would you blame a guy who can't drink for being thirsty? Yeah desperation doesn't help, but it can't be helped either. Maybe if one went to hookers it could lessen it... I don't blame who does but not my thing anyway.

Food and water are necessities, sex and relationships are not.
