the guilt from having failed a relationship takes a while to get over, a long while. the thought that I let somebody down due to my limitations as a human being, is tough to deal with. :oops: the thought that my best just didn't cut it, makes me just wanna hide with my own more congenial company.

I am not familiar with Paulo Coelho, +1 for you, lol. That being said, Rumi is overrated and disgusting-- If I wanted to spend hours going over how great life is, I'd go live it myself. :lol:

I took great comfort from one thing of Rumi's that I read in a book ages ago-

I died as a mineral and became a plant;
I died as a plant and rose to animal;
I died as animal and I was a man.
