Wait a minute - so you're saying that you are done with escorts forever? Finito. I think you're pulling my leg.
I meant until the Tinder girl dumps me, silly ;). "Suspended indefinitely" wasn't meant to be taken literally. I meant that while some possibly of dating/relationship exists, I don't see escorts. If it fails, it's fair game.

If I can't take Aspies literally, who can I take literally?
8O I'm confused.

I think the wink was evidence of not being forever.

Age is a number, stage of life is much more important. Some people hit certain stages sooner than others and the length of time in a stage can vary as well.

Most people become 'boring' after a certain age.

This is due to a combination of factors, the two primary one's being decaying health and increase in responsibilities and social pressure to 'grow-up'.

Of course, everyone's definition of 'fun' is different.

But, you said it yourself Aspie1 - most of your friends act like old married couples now, with their quiet little dinner parties and Sunday market shopping and picnics and peaceful little bike rides in the quaint little countryside. Or watching paint dry together and making nifty little stamp collections and sewing and knitting and *snore*...sorry, fell asleep.

They do this now while you go clubbing, have fun with escorts, and want to have fun being rowdy and chatty and social on trains, and going to dance clubs for couples and singles all the time.

While 'fun' is of course subjective, you are at least a bit more diverse and 'adventurous' in their fun than they are.

I don't know what to say other than the of course generic advice of 'Not all women in their 30s are like that!' but many are and the older you get, the less 'adventurous' women there will be.

It might not be impossible to find in women in their 30s, but women in their 40s? 50s?

How many 50 year olds do YOU know actually can handle clubbing or even just bigger parties and louder, more energetic things to do rather than nice little peaceful things?

Fun is relative though. Most people find trains boring not fun. I'm sure if a guy finds out I like trains he thinks: "booring"

Like I said like Aspie1 mentioned in past posts, his friend's and their S.O's ideas of 'fun' are incompatible to his.

He said in the past they essentially lost all interest in the things he does and now spend their time having quiet little dinner parties and watching paint dry (sometimes metaphorical, probably even sometimes literal).

Ah, but those are the ones in relationships. Us single women are statistically more likely to be up for a random trip to some where on a train. There's a reason some of us haven't "settled down". We don't want to be stuck in a boring routine. We still want to go out and explore new places.

There's still a lot of Britain I've never seen and I want to travel abroad more. I'd hate to end up with a homebody too.

I understand Aspie1's perspective. But I feel like oh no, another nail in the dating coffin. Men are gonna look at me and think, "over 30, must be boring. Avoid!" and that hurts. When it's not who I really am. If they'd take the time to get to know me.

Trains aren't boring but I ain't hugely into them I have a picture of me with a huge spanner on the Flying Scottsmans wheel when they were renovating (tbh not sure how they guy picked it up now...), I saw the Mallard as well in bits. Was about 10 then I think.

Can't wait for my kids to get a bit older so I can make a proper train set for them :D and it will so have a Mallard on it... :)

Now who doesn't want one of these come on https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mallard-Live-S ... d+00+gauge

Much depends on what is considered "fun" and "playfulness". When I was a late teen / in my 20s, people my age typically enjoyed getting drunk and partying, and I felt that was not fun at all. I still wouldn't consider a party-girl that age for anything serious, because they are not serious about relationships and only want to experiment. Thus, for an ND guy that wants a serious relationship, those girls are simply no good, no matter how playful they appear to be. Girls in their 30s are more serious, and this shows by their desires to get babies, which is not all bad, because it is evidence that they will commit to something serious.

About the playfulness, I'd say it's more related to neurotype than to age. ND girls in their 30s can be really advanced game-players, and take the whole thing to a completely different level than younger one's. That's because they are more mature and have more experience.

Still, I'd say very few women 40+ are playful. The few I know are easy to count. Even worse, most of the one's that are single are not relationship material either, because if they were, they would be in an LTR already. Rather, many are players in the bad sense that they won't commit to anything.

If user has been here several years it is not her.
Some people may make several "sleeper" accounts and never use them until they get banned. Then it's a simple matter to "wake up" one of the sleepers and used that account instead.

Let me be more specific. I am not Katy, as has been suggested recently elsewhere.

I kinda feel like that too. Not for dating, but in general. I want to go out places and have fun, but people my age don't do anything anymore. They're stuck in their routines and don't want to step outside of the box.

I miss being in my 20s and having single friends who wanted to go out.

Don't worry, they'll start getting divorced soon and once the kids are off to the ex for the weekend, it's playtime

Aha that's sound like something Katy would say! /joke

In all seriouness I bet she loves this fear she instills in people. She sound like just a boring person who has no life so has to bully people on the Internet.

This isn't a problem just for guys. I'm at the 30 mark now and have never found anyone my age on my wavelength.

I've never wanted kids. In my 20s I was honest about that when dating and it was usually an issue. The guys who didn't want a family didn't want a girlfriend as they had no reason to settle down with anyone. The guys who wanted a relationship were usually looking for someone who wanted a family at some point. I ended up dating guys a lot older or guys who wanted kids and knew we would break up at some point (which wasn't great).

I still don't want kids. That won't change, despite everyone telling me otherwise. I babysat enough when I was growing up. I now want freedom, money, travel, a nice house and the ability to jump on a train for the weekend or go trekking without having to worry about babysitters.

If anything, the older I get the more I want that. I work bloody hard and at some point I want to cash in and enjoy myself. Right now I have no partner to do that with and I'm not interested in travelling by myself. I worry that I will spend my whole life working and saving, never find anyone, then die a lonely millionaire in a house full of cats! : (

Your right there except one thing some guys already have kids and don't want any more ;) so if you don't hate kids that's another option.

Perhaps you need to advertise for a traveling companion?
