Do attractive people depress you?

I never said extra height makes a girl unattractive. Actually I consider tall girls to be more attractive.

Sorry my bad...I thought you mean't shorter girls were unattractive...tall girls tend to be slender so are more easily attractive in that regard whereas shorter girls put on weight more easily which is what I thought you were saying...

I was saying that lol. I thought you were saying I dislike tall girls.

When I mentioned a six-foot girl I saw on the train one day, RetroGamer had a gushing reaction.......

Yep. It always seems so sad when I hear a girl say "I think I'm too tall" or "guys only like short girls".

I guess there's someone for everyone. There are definitely guys who find chubby girls cute.

Attractive people don't depress me. The fact that I'm not one of them is what depresses me.

Maybe if you stand next to someone who's attractive you'll be attractive by association.

It's the attractive people who have it all kinda depress me, honestly I envy their genetic makeup and talents.

It seems, that good looks also often correlate with other qualities, there had been studies on this, maybe the reason is genetic or self esteem or both.


I was watching the local version of "Celebrity duets" the other day - for those who don't know, this program invite famous people who are not singers into a singing competitions, and every time they sing in 'duet' with a real singer.

and I was surprised how some of these good-looking non-singer famous people who were never singers as profession actually do sing very well.

For example this lady, named Dalida Khalil, is a local actress and model, yet she is singing very well in the program - she also danced well in another program and made it into the finals (dancing with the stars) :

So yeah, she has it all.


and this man, named Mosbah Al Ahdab, is a local politician, he is locally known as "the most beloved politician by women" due to his looks (and he does win their votes, he is bit older now tho) and his charming personality, he's also singing in this program and made it to semi finals.

So yeah.....such people have it all, they're really blessed ; and sometimes I feel so unlucky compared to such people.

I've read studies that said symmetry is a marker for genetic superiority. such children of a greater god born under a lucky star are a de facto master race.

Yes, I have also made this observation. I think it's because many traits considered attractive are based on indicators of good health and extremely healthy people have a greater capacity to do things skillfully. For example, a healthy person could sing better than a sick person.

A few days ago I watched the opening ceremony for the winter Olympics and when the athletes marched in I noticed they were all very attractive. They had the most handsome men and the most beautiful women. These athletes are some of the fittest, healthiest  and most talented people in the world so it's no surprise that they look attractive. 

No, attractive people don't depress me. I don't have the energy or time to waste getting bent out of shape over some people being more blessed than I am; there's plenty of people who would kill to have the same amount of blessings I have and I'm not even that well blessed.

So, she's the same size as P!nk? I hope she finds someone who appreciates her.

Only if they're particularly nasty attractive people.
