Already it's established the attraction isn't mutual.
You don't know each other yet and yet you know you both exist.
I wanted to add, it's sort of weird that you've already sort of put her in this position of "potential girlfriend" when you don't know her, haven't talked to her, don't even know her name, know absolutely nothing about her. Dude - she just started yesterday.
Back up and start again. If you're approaching every single woman out there with this air of desperation, I can kind of see why you may be getting weird, scowling looks in return.
And yet that’s how most all relationships start, guy thinks girls pretty and wants to date her(ie gf)
It’s not an air of desperation, most men and women will see other wed they find attractive as a potential mate if they’re single. Our species is driven to mate up and reproduce as we aren’t a asexual reproductive species
And yet this quite obviously has not been working. When something doesn't work it makes literally zero sense to continue to do it.
It works for a lot of others. It’s simple. He’s not attractive enough for women or earns enough. Nothing he does or I do will work. A landlocked mountain will never see the ocean no matter what it does. My situation is hopeless my life is over and was over at 18. If I looked handsome and had a good job approaching women as potential gf would work wonders. But I’m ugly and disabled and poor so women are like ewww get away from me, no way of approaching will matter, they don’t want poor ugly men as friends.
Ones who are friendly with me know since they wouldn’t date me no other women would. They constantly set other men they know up with women, those are real men with futures not disabled losers who going work min wage rest of their life. They’re men who are in early twenties going to college and solely working retail to get extra income for parties and such, their parents pay their rent and car payments. If I was so,e middle class executive it’d be different I’m sure they’d set me up with their friends saying he’s a catch, but I’m not. I have traits women like but without the structure(income, car, home) to back I up. Better to get a real man and change him to those traits then a poor loser with this traits who’ll never provide the lifestyle they desire.

Excuse me?
He's the one calling me names, not the other way around, and his behaviour towards me and others offering him helpful advice is laughable. And so, I laugh.

Uh-huh.. how dare I suggest you take responsibility for yourself and do any work whatsoever to make yourself more attractive to girls. I'm such a terrible, awful, troll.
Grow up, Marknis.

Why do you think it's acceptable to call me names and write posts like this towards me?
I'm not doing that to you. In fact, I don't do that to anyone here - in part because there are rules against it, and in part because that's not who I am & I don't stoop to the low of childish name calling. Just because I don't report posts for breaking forum rules doesn't mean you have free reign to call me names. Grow up, Marknis.
To the contrary, I post and tell you actual helpful advice.. like get in shape, girls are attracted to physical fitness. When I was fat, they paid no attention to me. Now that I'm fit they hit on me whether I want them to or not. It's not rocket surgery stuff to do some pushups, go for a run, eat healthy food, and drink plenty of water. Bit by bit over time you'll look and feel better, and then you'll begin to get the attention you crave. I'm not sitting here telling you, "Girls hit on me and not you nanananana." I'm telling you these are the things I did to change myself, and now girls hit on me. You can easily replicate the same success by making some lifestyle choice changes that will set you up for future success.

I haven't called you any insults or names, Marknis. Stop lying. It seems you and a couple other regular on these forums have a very bad habit of making up things that people here have never said/wrote.
As for taking crap from people here, it's a good thing I have an awfully thick skin, because many people here think it's acceptable to post insults towards me. It says a whole lot more about them than me, though. Ditto in your case.

Maybe it's because I've had a history of being bullied, told I am wrong even if I was indeed correct about something just because the other person was louder and more aggressive than I was, dubbed "ret*d" by rednecks, told I have "Hamburger Syndrome", had my dreams laughed off by others, and had people rub their victories in my face? Ever thought about that?
I am not going to waste anymore of my life posting to you.

So someone else wronged you & you're taking it out on me for posting helpful advice for you.. How does that make any logical sense whatsoever?
You need to figure out how to differentiate between Other people who have said or done negative things to you & people who care enough about your struggles to take time out of their lives to write helpful advice for you. Taking out your frustrations about Other people who have wronged you on people who are posting helpful advice for you is entirely inappropriate behaviour.

Marknis,
I'm quite new here and have no issue with you and no knowledge of the forum politics at play here. I'll just give my experience with girls, as I feel we were in a similar position, and hopefully you can take something from them.
I was about 250lbs, I was trying to cover up a rapidly receding hairline and I didn't care much for how I dressed. I had no confidence in myself and low self-esteem. No girl had gone near me for quite some time. I decided that it would never happen so I might as well look after myself. I dropped to around 200lbs (still overweight for my height but more chubby than fat), shaved my head and bought some new clothes. I went out to a bar with a couple of friends and for the first time in my life I was hit on (it was incredibly uncomfortable) and then a couple of weeks later I met a girl and we had a relationship. The relationship failed because I was still insecure. I tied myself into knots with anxiety and it exhausted her eventually. Since then I've had other girls interested but I know that I need to sort out my mental health as well as continue to work on my physical health because I'm not interested in a one night stand or to have a short relationship that ends with me broken hearted again. My advice to anyone in a similar situation is to just focus on yourself for a bit. Build your confidence and work on your appearance. Someone will notice eventually.
Have you asked out girls at work before or made it obvious you were interested in them, if so, how long ago and how many women have you done this with?
If you haven't or the last time was a long time ago then it should be ok to ask her out but if your not physically attractive your chances of her saying yes will be better if you let her get to know you first.
Your brother is irrelevant, you're nothing like him. I'm nothing like my sister (three husbands, five children, full time job, loves parties, lots of friends) what works for her doesn't work for me. You need to find what works for you.
Female psychology--If you ask out all the young female staff and they've all said no, she will be told this and when you ask her out it will confirm what she has been told (that you are desperate) and she will say no. If you don't ask her out or show any interest in her after she has been told this, however, unless she is supremely confident or very shy, she will find you less attainable and therefor more attractive.

Similar experience right here, too, although I still don't dress well nor care bout fashion. Good thing we don't wear clothes where I hang out!
I was 242lbs with a 38" waist 6 years ago. Right now I'm 206.5lbs @ 13%bf (kinda high for me these days, I'll drop down to 10-11% within the next few months) This didn't happen overnight. I've gone on too many 7-10km runs to count (but I started with long walks!) & have done somewhere in the vicinity of a Quarter Million pushups since I started doing pushups every day (but I started with only being able to do 20 or 30, not the 111 I bang off in under 2 minutes now.) Rome wasn't build in a day and neither are fit bodies. It takes dedication, commitment, discipline, and focusing on long term goals to get through short term challenges.
Besides girls hitting on me (Maybe she has a younger brother?
