I have trouble recognizing people, so I always looked for men who looked unique in their appearance (the more glaringly obvious the uniqueness, the better)..... "Attractive" men all look the same for the most part and blend into crowds.
I'd hate to be dating someone who I couldn't even recognize

I read somewhere (I think a Psychology textbook) that what most humans consider "attractive" is actually whatever is closest to the "average" appearance. I too can have a little trouble telling the most common "types" apart (the blonde "Barbie" actress look; the... man face... don't have words for it

I have face blindness, aslo (Prosopagnosia, Facial Agnosia), to a large degree.
