Why do women even exist, if not for my personal gratification?

Isn't that the rage-cry of involuntarily celibate and toxic males?

It IS sort of strange when posters mention that they were following women around in a club recently, making them uncomfortable, and then, a couple days later, suggest that women shouldn’t go out because of potential sexual harassment. It seems a bit like victim-blaming in my opinion.

I think me following them around was a bit of an OCD thing as well.

Probably I stay away from pubs this weekend.

Maybe for a longer time, perhaps?

I will become depressed if I avoid going out to much plus I don't develop my social skills.

Can’t you find other places to go? It doesn’t seem like going to pubs is helping your social skills that much if you are still making women uncomfortable.

Yeah I know I should start volunteering soon

The town I live is supposed to be autism friendly.

To be fair though I've know quite a few people in my life (including myself) who can, have and do make certain people feel uncomfortable but we are actually quite harmless. I really don't think it's fair to lock yourself away and stop going to places where you like going just because a couple of people feel uncomfortable around you. You just need to learn to be a bit less clingy or needy or something.

I've said it before to you Jamesy: there's nothing wrong with standing in a pub and having a couple of drinks and minding your own business. If people talk to you it doesn't mean they are your best friend and it's not an automatic invite into their social circle. Just be cool about things man.

This is some good advice & is compassionate.

I think that given his extensive issues with pubs over the years, as outlined in many, many threads, it would probably be a good idea to avoid them altogether.

It's certainly one of the more popular ones.

That's perfectly reasonable, but I'd find places that aren't pubs to go to.

What is wrong with pubs though? Aren’t they places to develop those type of skills
