It's one thing to think younger women are attractive, but what do you even talk about on a date with that much of an age difference? And I think that a 40 y/o and 70 y/o have much more in common than a 19 y/o and a 35 y/o. I wont even entertain dating a woman beyond 10 years younger than me. I had a girlfriend that was a little passed 10 years younger, and that ended up being miserable in the long-run. Lesson learned. Ideally, the good range is 5± my age, but it could go up to 10- if they're mature for their age since I think I'm a little immature for mine.

Maybe take their comment as a hint. If you like younger women, what about 25-30 y/o?

^^^ this makes some sense, a 19 yr old is still developing whereas 40 yr old and 70 yr old are much closer developmentally. However a 70 year old was born in 1955. By the time they started working it was the 1970s and they had their prime by the 1990s. they are likely tech phobic and struggle to use a mobile phone and social media.

A 40 yr old was born in 1985. they spent their teenage years in the internet era and grew up with social media in their prime. So from a social media and tech perspective a 40 yr old and 70 yr old are chalk and cheese.

In some ways I have more in common with NT 19 year-olds than NTs my own age. For example NT 19 year-olds are more likely to be into staying up all night watching TV shows like Adult Swim programing & playing video-games while listening to current pop music. Plus NT 19 year-olds are more likely to be closer to my maturity & independence level than NTs my own age are. An NT my age is more likely to resent me for feeling forced to act like a mom with me. My parents had me when they were 30 & even when I was a kid my parents did not like current music & talked about various adult stuff I stil can not relate to. I'd assume that most NTs in their 30s or older right now would be the same way. There are lots of exceptions of course. That said when I was single I was not specifically seeking out 19 year-olds. My age range was 19 to my current age at the time.

Having a maturity of a 19 year old is one thing, slipping into their DMs is quite another.
