Sure, but does that mean that
they should be precluded from
ANY relationship? Or, do you think
that someone who seeks out those
with damage are assured to harm
further?

What I'm talking about are girls with a screwed-up idea of sexuality.

lonermutant is correct. In my option i dont screw to abuse a girl in my life. Listen to you heart males before to abuse a girl in future. I have to say STOP ABUSE!

And I don't see where ANYTHING in the
OP indicates this. Plus, MOST people seem
to have a screwed up idea of sexuality, by
someone's definition.

Just remember that those who have been
abused are liable to need love. Maybe more
than most.

In the OPs defense, he didn't say that it was the RIGHT way to go about picking up women, just that it was the EASIEST.

Yes, but you can't abuse an abused person in order to satisfy yourself.

Got to be a pretty poor strategy to get a relationship though, they will wake up to it eventually. Just like one person a while back was talking about how he liked foreign women because they are not as clued up about the culture. But I find that is short lived in my experience. If they are NT they usually settle in just fine and you still have social issues. Some abused people do not seek relationships at all.

I think the easiest strategy for some of us is actually knowledge, and dealing with avoidance through things like CBT. By easiest it by no means easy, it is very hard indeed which is why wasting time with red herrings will make it take longer. Anyone can say stuff like, ‘those women are easier’ but unless you’re on the same playing field it is pretty meaningless.

Ummmmm, well, from my experience, I was almost fixed when Kevin found me. He just gave me the little bit of the nudge I needed to be fully fixed.

Still an Aspie, not depressed. :)

I feel special.

He's my bestest best friend ever!

I would never go out with the first girl who showed me any sort of attention. I have a set of standards that any potential date *must* meet.

I did. Well, with the first that
I NOTICED. Later, I realized
others were probably not
merely teasing. Wouldn't
have done otherwise either,
with regard to her. Even though
she turned out unable to be
true, I would never have
detected this, even now.

The other problem with this "theory" is that it is far too easy to pick someone up who is not actually in trouble per se, but is simply a very needy and dependant personality. Some people will actually use your "chivalry" to take advantage of you. There is no guarantee that you can actually "save them" from their issues. Also, its very easy to get caught up in a lot of trouble acting the "hero."

An angry and violent ex-boyfriend on your case is ALWAYS going to be a pain in the ass, whether you can handle yourself or not. Even if you can, kicking the s**t out of him may only bring more troubles. Even if its a self-defence matter, you can get caught up in all manner of hell.

Canandale's got the idea....

On another note...

This theory is a theory only based on my observations of people. It was not meant to piss anyone off. It was not meant to be a recipe for abuse.

I've never tried this. I'm just discussing this theory with you all on WP, and seeing what you think.

As frustrated as I am with women, I'm always going to be a gentleman, because that's how I was raised.

I honestly don't think that someone without
pretty serious problems would be interested
in me. This is not a matter of low self esteem,
but more a simple observation that I don't
deal with the sane well. I tend to form very
strong bonds with those with serious difficulties,
and there also is often mutual benefits coming from
this association.

Probably just co-dependency, but I don't want
someone whom I can't help, and who can't help
me. I crave to be wanted strongly - very strongly.

i can't even process all the rest of your post because this is so nonseniscal and contradicting itself. your sentences are fighting each other.

Women can get a date/boyfriend/sex/whatever, anytime and any place they want?
TRUE.

The problem is...they just don't want it?
uh FALSE. duh. they? yes zero women want boyfriends or all women love you-- whatever-- no sense no sense either way you turn it.

Women are so gosh-darn picky about their mates, in the little time that they actually do desire one.
again, TRUE/FALSE. this negates your opening idea. sure i can f**k someone if i want or get a boyfriend if i want, but NO i cannot IF i am ALSO picky.

but you admit you like to provoke people. says so right by your picture. and i KNOW that when people say what they are really like, you should ALWLAYS listen, even if they say or think they are just joking because even so, it is usually a truth at some level.

and also, the problem with rescuer types (just the general kind, not ones that plan it out, you are an entirely different fish)-- i left this one guy because he was nice at first, but then i noticed he didn't reallly want me to get better, at least subconsiously, because he liked his role of good-guy, and my role of sick-girl. and i did not want to be sick-girl anymore, so he bored me.

I would even disagree that
ANY woman can get sex whenever
she wants.

yes. you are right. but 3 falses in a row are closer to making sense. so i had issue with it. plus i did consider those women and thought i am sure they could be crafty enough to buy a gigalo, even if they need a crane to leave the house i am sure something could be worked out. haven't you heard about how terribly manipulative all women are? :)

Vulnerable? I don't take advantage of vulnerable girls, it's not right.
