Not just Valentines day , the whole thing that people call it *love* is just an excuse for a couple to stay together.

Even some people who aren't single hate it.

I think I'd like it if I had someone...I like being romantic. What I don't like are being surrounded by those bloody PDA's! Then again, because so many of my aspie bretheren are stuck suffering on that day, I'm not sure I'd like it all that much even if I had a loving girlfriend. Hahah.

Someone needs to go around with a pink guitar on Valetines and whenever they see an excessive PDA they sing "I loove bunnies! I looove pink! I loooove your mom's underpants, especially when they stink!"

Just so it is more romantic for those PDAers.

^Just kidding, although this has the potential to be a good youtube video

Isn't what you're talking about obvious? Love doesn't even sound bad from your unfavorable description...

It's always been just another day to me.

I guess the only thing that might be difficult is the workplace, given the type of sense of humour there is there.

You're supposed to call them Crackberries, because they're so addictive.

How unromantic can Valentine's Day be? Uh, here's an excuse for squeezing money out of morons. No thanks. If I'd like to make the move I'll do it without the insistence of a commercial prod.

You guys are all looking at it negatively, especially you single guys.

Valentine Day is opportunity day. Do you know how many single women are depressed and lonely on Valentine Day, yet go out, whether with their other single friends, or just to go out and not be depressed.

This is the time to go out and find these girls, bars, clubs, wherever and strike while the iron is hot.

Tell them how stupid Valentine is, and I bet you they'll agree with you(only because they are lonely and single). This makes them feel like less of a loser when tell them Valentine for suckers.

So in other words...take advantage of their lonliness? haha.

I don't think I actually hate Valentine's Day quite as much as I say I do. I like the heart-shaped lollipops. I usually end up buying a big bag and sharing the love with everybody instead of just one person. haha

Single woman=Woman with no lover. And yes, there are some. Just because you're a woman it doesn't mean you can have any guy you want.

That is flat-out untrue. I've known women that look worse than me getting easy boyfriends all the time... just because they were women...

Okay then. What would you call a single woman? And don't say non-existent...

Dude, you're not a woman. You have no idea what it's like. I also said any guy they want.
