Never happened to me, but the sexes are not equal, they never will be. There are things women can and can't do, and things that men can and can not do...

The only equal thing is the basic concept of a homosapien.

I agree. We aren't equal. Why would I (hypothetically) date someone who won't pick up the tab, when I can have a dozen other guys who will?

Not only that, but we can also take into account that (traditionally) women will end up doing 70%-90% of the cooking, cleaning, and childcare later on down the road, so it seems the very least a guy can do is buy her dinner as a small token that he is willing to reciprocate financially....

(Note: This isnt necessarily my opinion, but this is the case most women make, regardless)

Hence we come aboard the whole blame game seesaw....

That is very true. But in our culture(American) men are expected to take responsibility nearly all of the time; EVEN IF women dont do their part and be responsible for themselves(in the context of a relationship). Women are often VERY insecure, much moreso than men and combined with the expectation that men are supposed to be responsible, they blame men for everything because they can get away with it.

All I'm hearing from this thread is "blah blah blah waaaah cry"

Deal with it, find a woman that doesn't do it, or be single.

That is EXACTLY what I tell women when I hear them bitching and whining about men and how life is so hard for them.
If we men dont get to whine then goddamit! Im not putting up with women doing it either. Im thinking of getting a bumper sticker that says: PMS: Deal with it! :D

I learned the hard way the first time I was dumped by someone I truly loved that whining does no one any good. And to me, saying "why do women do this" yadda yadda is nothing but whining.

It's no different from me asking why all men leave the toilet seat up. I sat on one too many cold basins and found a man that doesn't leave the toilet seat up.

This complaint is especially stupid because it only applies to dating. Usually once you're married your money goes into one big clump. My husband pays at meals and everything, but it is OUR money coming out of a joint checking account, not HIS money.

Also that is simply biology. One of the advantages we have because we shove children through our vaginas is we generally get to choose suitors in order to make the human species better. As such, the people being chosen are competitors, not the people doing the choosing (in general, or course this is not always the case).

But Im not going to b***h about it, Im going to disregard it. Not all women whine but next time I hear one that starts whining about men Im gonna tell her to suck it up and DEAL WITH IT! You're trying to act so hard-nosed but Ive seen YOU post some whiney, PMSy rants here on WP .

Well they dont seem to be doing a very good job of it! Most people are SCUM and I see very little change from one generation to the next. The OP raised a valid point: Many women think that because they have babies that they dont have to be responsible for themselves and you can just blame men for everything. I guess fella's are getting sick and tired of putting up with this bullsh1t.

If any one should whine and moan it should be me. No man has ever done anything for me - no Dad, no brother, no partner. All they have ever been good for is sex (partner).

I am a whiner sometimes. I'm not denying this.

But whining about whining is just plain stupid for all parties involved.

If you don't like the way women do things, there are other options for you.

edit: I wanted to add, part of a successful relationship is being able to ignore certain shortcomings of the other sex. No one is perfect. I can't stand that men insist on adjusting and scratching their privates all the time, but I have accepted the fact that every man does it and don't go around complaining about it.

This thread would have been perfect if it stopped after the first 4 posts.

I'd like to point out that MY first post to this thread was NOT a whine or even a bleepin rant! I was attempting to answer the OPs question as empirically as I possible could. The men on WP certainly do do their share of whining but so do the women! Anywhere else they'd be mercilessly mocked and branded as "losers" because its not considered socially acceptable for men to whine and complain, ESPECIALLY about women.

MissConstrue, you're worrying me a tad. Whatever happened to your sarcastic (sense of)humour? :?

Is it incorrect to presume that you're stating 2 contradictory statements to be ironic?
