For me it would be either an ice rink, so you can wobble all over the place then they can steady you by holding your hand 8)
Or somewhere really peaceful like the middle of the country side at night watching stars, stars are always better in the country side.

For me

Bookstore
Mall
Nice Restaurant
park
movie at theater or home (home is better)
Downtown

Although I think hell will freeze over before I even get a chance to even try these out (I'm in medical school & since when do I have time not to mention the will to date anymore?)

I think driving my honey around in my truck might be romantic as well. :P

- Bowling
- Mini Golf
- The arcade for King of Fighters! (except the chance of finding a woman who's into that is almost nil)... or DDR (slightly more likely, but still about nil)
- Having jolly banter over a cup o' tea.
- A walk through the park on a summer night

All I can think of right now.

I was reading an article while I was in school, and it seems apparent that the number of female gamers is definitely on the rise. I think in the survey conducted by the particular group in question, 47% of the respondents who gamed were women, and this was done back in 2001. While the games themselves varied, girl gamers do exist. We have a number of women in my World of Warcraft guild (granted, they play with their S.O.'s, but still...) and the co-leaders of our guild are in fact a married couple.

Do you have a Dave and Buster's nearby? If so, you might want to check that out. We just got one here in Tulsa, and it's pretty cool. Granted, it's not as big as the ones in Dallas or Chicago, but I could easily spend 3-5 hours in there on $100 (to include dinner for two of you.)

Only if you and your woman is really into that kind of stuff... The only thing I ever really got from a Dave & Buster's was a severe cold... (I'm a gamer, btw... but the arcade stuff isn't really my thing)

Totally agree with Toad! I got a cold there too! I think everyone sneezes all over the equipment. It also makes me a bit fuzzy headed sometimes with all the noise, flashing lights and it tends to always be very warm in those places.

Plus my b/f is an aspie and he said the noise and flashing makes his head swirl. I think this might be a characteristic of some aspie's but i am not entirely sure. I feel like i read somewhere that this can bother them but i might be confusing it with something else.

And if you're not into that kind of stuff, don't go. It's as simple as that. Just tossed that out there as a suggestion.

No need for defensiveness. You tossed it out as a suggestion and I just followed up with my experiences....

It's as simple as that ;)
