Because I don't know how not to be single, and I don't care enough to find out.

Honestly, probably *choice*, more than anything else.

When the moment presents itself once again, I will once again seize the opportunity, but until then, I'm perfectly fine with being single.

Lol. No really. I even went with some friends to a gay club. Not even there lol.

Obviously. But the feeling of being an undesirable and years of brutal treatment have taken their toll

Late reply but at least I remembered!

I would like to go to a Gay Village one day just to see what it's like.

Oh wow...that sucks dude.

I don't call myself handsome either but I just see everything as a chance or at least something that could happen in the most unlikely of scenarios.

Well it would mean I'd have to keep some one amused.

How would I go about doing that?

Should I act like a chimpanzee or a sea lion , people like chimpanzees and sea lions don't they ? Well I do in an environment that's natural to them not one where their made to preform day in day out at "fun" parks, crowds boorishly cheering and mindlessly clapping as they chow down their $22 misery burgers. All those performances day in day out preforming in a frightened and dispirited manner and for what for some table scraps?

One day these preforming circus animals will "snap " and they bite back and it's off to the knackery.

Perhaps one day we will come to the realisation of the error of their ways, poor sea lion what a waste of a existence.

Because I don't have a social circle to go out and meet people with, and I'd feel insecure trying to date someone and have them realize I don't really hang out with anyone else.

Also the fact that guys don't ask me anyways (and I'm too shy to ask them).

I go out, I acomplish my list of "to-do" things and I return home. No socializing no peers no nada.

It's only very few times I get invited to go to a hangout, but I hate sitting around so I avoid that too.

Summer provides better options for socializing as people are out more.. random chance of an encounter.

No confidence, I simply cannot ask anyone nor do I know who I should ask.

Quite a few reasons, a crucial one being to my knowledge no one has ever liked me like that. Unfortunately I fear I couldn't deal with a relationship anyway.

Dunno........ it's gotta be my personality.
Also, once I get past the obligatory small talk i don't know what to say.
If I'm talking to someone I'm attracted to it's even worse.

Becuase it's akin to putting Bill Gates Steve Jobs (even when he was alive ) and a Ps 3 in a room and telling them to "be productive"

Sure the 24 hr news cycle would believe it as would the "mom and dad" shareholders and even some stockbrokers (the ones that are addicted to coke that is) but those in the know and I mean really in the know know not much can come out of it more than likely it will end in tears.

Phony in the early 90's was left to it's humiliation and great deceit was left at the alter by Nintendo, and it turned out for the best, see what was accomplished when they weren't burdened by a relationship that was destined to fail?

Than the hubris kicked in..... (I prefer Xbox) even if it's allways on heat.
