Because he's mentioning the scent of fish in a metaphoric way (I know it has nothing to do with
fish, but it is making me hungry for fish) lol in actuality, I don't know why I wouldn't want to date the person above me other than the fact that I have no idea who he is XD

And, I wouldn't want that to come as a nasty surprise when I turn up for the first date.

Lol aww, I think it's cute now that I know about that! And anyway, you wouldn't find it to be a bad thing to be called "cute" would ya? I always find it really flattering to be called cute (and I'm almost always being called cute!) And both just for kicks and because I find it to be true, but I think you are cute!
