This is not a discussion about social status, it's about how we can all get along better. Many of us often feel what sly just said. I don't see that as a reason to give up.

I think I’ve given up. Doesn’t mean I’m happy or going be happy.

That doesn't mean anything in particular.

I know NTs who gave up. They're still just as important to me.

It's not as if I never think I'm going to be alone no matter what I do, I'm simply not justified in spreading negativity that way.

I love the people on here & I seriously love the people in my life. That doesn't mean I'm any good at showing it. We're here to get better.

Nope. I’m not meant to be happy. I was born to be sad and tormented.
I’ll never be happy single.

You're free to stop thinking in terms of single or not single.

I think that's all BS anyway. Everyone must decide for themselves who's important to us & why.

No one ever came up with an official definition of love that fully describes it so you can relax, there's no way we're as wrong as we think we are about this.

It's easy to feel hopeless when things aren't going right. Just because you're sad now, doesn't mean you'll always be sad. Can you remember the last time you were really happy?

I'm thinking there's a greater issue at hand than just any of our ASD diagnoses. We need to confront everyone's prejudice at the same time we're making efforts to be more relatable.

I love people without us necessarily understanding each other. I think we need to make more time in our lives for relaxed discussions about ourselves & our similarities to NTs.

I felt "romantic" feelings even as a 5-year-old.

Sly. You are a Homo sapiens.

Most people see me as subhuman as I didn’t live up to societies demands. I’m not middle class, I don’t make good money, I can’t own a car, I’m not a real man I’m not dating material. No woman sees me romantically or would even consider dating me non less wasting their time talking to me.

I didn’t like females until I was 11/12.
If you had romantic and sexual feelings or attraction at 5 that’s not normal, most don’t until their start going through puberty
I like most 5 year olds saw women as the enemy and didn’t want their cuties lol

I had a crush on a girl when I was five. It was very romantic! She could do the splits.  (It wasn't sexual).
I got run over by a bike-a-thon trying to cross a busy road to see her.

Romantic feelings can happen at different levels at different ages.
