I'm a bilingual person (speaking fluent English and learning German), I play the Bass Guitar and I also play cricket (as a bowler, Right Arm Leg Spin, like Shane Warne).

My humour is quickly becoming legend at my Uni as it did at my School (Cox Green Comprehensive) and I'm even getting final year students who tell me I should join the local Comedy Club (funny lot they are, they don't print any contact details on their flyers).

okay..not sure if i am doing this correctly..but here goes. i just joined this site, Im a 37 year old lady living in Staten Island New York. I was dianosed with high functioning AS and above average IQ 3 years ago. I do not smoke, drink or take drugs. I am of Austrian/German/Italian decent. I am a freelacne artist and my interests include my son, art, ,science, nature, animals, fish, plants, zoos, museums,cooking, baking and making historical miniatures. I am no longer married (single) and have a 5 year old. Much to my great dismay, he was diagnosed with AS last year.
I am looking to meet aspies in my area who have similar interests as myself.

I'm Bunny, a 27 year old english eccentric very attractive female, I'm not really fluffy and little though! I am blonde, tall and voluptuous. I have not yet been tested as an aspie but my 9 yr old son ( Will bubs ) has AS, and I show a few of the traits, such as being brutally honest, sometimes to the point of rudeness ( according to NTs), I lack common sense, I'm clumsy, I hate small talk and chit chat ( I don't have female NT friends as they feel the need for this) but I do like guys and have male friends who accept my eccentric personality and appreciate me. I am quite disorganised, but am intelligent ( though not quite genius), I love learning and retain information extremely well and I would be quite happy to listen for hours to anyone who would like to teach me their interests) I am extremely confident and quite social ( though I'm not necessarily looking for someone who is.)

A practising Christian, gave my life to Christ 4 years ago and have not looked back since then. Interested to meet Aspies and autistics both locally and from pretty much anywhere, from any walk of life.

Other interests include soccer (particularly my local - and obscure - team), words/etymology, languages (including what are known as international auxiliary languages e.g. Esperanto), means of transport (especially bus networks), road networks, supermarkets, personal names and the backgrounds/histories behind them, local history.

I would find it very interesting to share interests with other Aspies, as well as finding out something of the interests of other Aspies. I'm more of a 'one-to-one' socialiser, mind you that should be advantageous in a relationship I enter into.

I'm Chris, a computer programmer slash college student, with a budding knowledge of physics and the mathematics that subside. Learning is my passion. I'm an intellect of sorts. True polynomial-pimpin' cowboy of the mathematical frontier. I partake my studies with passion and tend to think outside of the box.

This will act as somewhat of a token of my appreciation to the wealth of selflessly-contributed knowledge that has provided me with the expertise and confidence in the areas of which I've devoted countless hours to, continuously. Even then, I am a grateful amateur and I find it out of respect that I share my knowledge selflessly, as well, being it the least I can do. I continually wish to acquire new skills to bring me to the next container of my knowledge.

I enjoy the rush of a good discussion. I enjoy debating current events, religion, politics, mathematics and any intellectual discussion. Be it the theory, the mathematics, or just the way polynomials look after several alcoholic beverages - I love this stuff. I eat, drink and sleep knowledge, to say the least. Hi I was wondering if there's anyone on this site who lives on or near Staten Island..or somwehre in New Jersey..or am I the only one?
Feeling pretty isolated here..
I am starting to believe that i am the only woman in this area of NYC that has high functioning AS. I once attended a small local support group, but found that i did not fit in, as the other members were low functioning. I felt very out of place and akward.
I am a 37 year old gal, diagnosed high functioning AS with above average IQ.
im an artist. Interested in meeting anyone in my area for freinship, pen pal or dare i hope there is a man out there about my age with similar level of AS and that we have something in common?

There must be plenty of guys with AS in Staten Island or close to it.
