I'm flattered... but I do worry when people start MCing on my behalf, never seems to have the effect they'd want it to.

edit: no desire to diminish the compliments though, thank you :). Taking them with appropriate grace, at least on forums, can be a bit tricky at times.

BTW, Zane, you're definitely a good looking guy yourself - a hair past myself I think. I'd really like to see something go your way in that regard though and yeah - I definitely have my fingers crossed for you as well.

As for Magnus, I just wish her both the best of luck and the best of patience with what she has. :)

The both of me? Umm... Are you talking about my imaginary boyfriend?

Here is his picture:

I think I outgrew him.

Oh, no way... I am sorry but that is uncalled for. You can never outgrow Hobbes, he is maybe the greatest comic book character ever. (subject to opinion, not up for debate  )

Thank you again 8)

I am sure something will turn from it

But to be honest, looking good only goes so far ... I get girls interested but my follow through could use an update

These days however, it is becomming difficult to control my libedo :?

I was at the mall yesturday and my friend told me I was acting like a middle schooler the way I was checking out EVERY hot girl and making comments like "I can see her bra" or "Holy wow man, look at those breasts" ... in my defence, he was joining in, just less verbal.

We had a good laugh and then ate some heart attack on a bun over at the RedBird.

Yeah. My big draw back is - I work with four people. That and my roommate from before, his social group was rather constant as was mine. Friends on the periphery have yielded promise with their groups but I also know I have to play the game of hanging back if the person who takes interest in me is someone they went there trying to pick up. My personality is too esoteric, not that I want it that way, just that at some point you have to realize at which trajectory your most at home and from what vantage point of your own sense of self you can go on living your life at a steady rate as well as live happily - so in the end I can only water it down so much before what I bring in really starts slighting me.

Something odd sticks out in r\this statement, something that hits close to home...

I used to be that way until I began leading my own pack (group of friends)

I run mine with a strong sense of comunity and all of my friends aggree. Even if I am self appointed, I still lead in my eyes. So never again do I allow for laying claims, instead it goes like this... we all know each other and attempt to get girls accordingly. And when there is a ldy of mutual interest...may the best man win :) and I don't feel bad about it ;)

You could try this, no?

I have physical handicaps and limitations on my dog-eats-dog-leader-of-the-pack social posturing. My NT friends are of the variety that it comes too easily, I tried like hell to bring myself up to level, I'm not a complete floor level side-kick but I'm still pretty close to the end of the command chain. In my lifetime I've even watched real gooberish guys who almost looked up to me at the time run right past me just by trying whereas my trying brought me nothing in terms of working with myself and trying to crush my boundaries.

Certain things kind of just are what they are, part of why I'm doing what I can to at least compensate it in other ways.

Anyway, I don't want to drag this thread down into personal topics territory - lets either take this conversation up in PM or just cut it all together :).

Once again, I concur. I do admire your confidence ;)

Actually, I have been meaning to ask you Double D, how did your "girls wanting to touch you to get over your fear of touching" situation turn out?

Did you end up letting them play around?

And more interestingly, did it work for you? Has it worked, is it working?

I would love to know :)
