8O Wow, you're really on a roll, aren't you? :x

I'm not *that* old, man. Maybe I'm cynical because of the decades of hateful, abusive s**t that I've endured at the hands of knuckle-dragging NTs. It's got nothing to do with age, my dear.

Dude, 98% of the world's population isn't worth my time, as it is... ;)

I agree with Dox. It isn't lying or misleading to just not say anything about your condition if you're high-functioning, then when the time is right, put the label for the weirdness. A person hearing Aspergers just runs because they assume the worst. Some have no idea what the condition is, some just stereotype you as some Rain Man or Forrest Gump type of person (Sad but true.)

I understand SINsister that you want someone with a condition themselves and someone to understand you, but a lot of people with similar conditions do what I just told you or are flat-out embarrassed about their condition and try to be as "normal" as possible.

I don't know much about dating, and I would prefer not to do any of it, but for the first time in my life, I put the moves on somebody before they did it to me. I kissed him first.

Pretty good for someone who's almost thirty. :D

Are there girls like you that are in their early 20s?

Yeah well, my problems start when misunderstandings happen... either by myself or my partner at the time...

:? can never see where I'm going wrong though, that's the annoying thing about it.
My opinion? Modern dating sucks when things out of your control happens... Everything else you can just about control...

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that being older was a bad thing (hugs SINsister :)). And you don't seem old in your attitude. Talk about people MY age who are already married with children. NOW you're talking about people who seem old...

But I was just making the observation that after seeing enough, maybe you can't help but get little jaded. Of course that's not your fault.

Hmm. Yeah, "jaded's" about right. I'm just tired of all of it. Where's the Mothership, dammit? I wanna go home!
