It doesnt do any of these things, all that website to is encourage men to think all women are brainless prostitutes. I didnt think it could get any worse and then I saw the photos of naked women on his bed and then the prostitutes.. come on, that guy is just a fool.

Also, it depends on the situation. In 04 to 06 I lived in a city where there was a single man drought- far more women. None of the girls I was friends with could find a relationship, just men who would dump them looking for a better woman amongst the vast pool. I see so much talk here of how women are fussier than men but that is BS, if there is a man drought the men try and look for the prettiest girl possible. Both genders are equal in the dating world, it just depends on the environment.

Now to be blunt, were your friends pretty or not really? Guys will sleep with almost anyone to take care of a dryspell. Guys that are also very physically attractive will sleep around because they can. One unfortunate reality for girls lower on the looks scale is that they tend to get the "pump and dump" treatment more often because their looks limit their options for guys and they are not as used to guys approaching them as the prettier ones are.
