No she wasn't, she was criticizing the way you come across. Also, how and where have I been "quite unpleasant"? I'm not hurt by your comment, but I can't fix the problem until I know what I'm doing wrong.

I have Aspergers, am also good with words and at 16 years old I had a reading age of 19.5 years.

I don't know if you intended this, but that statement is incredibly arrogant.

I want to love you but you all just keep coming back with bile and bitterness.

I am a sweetness ... so why not savour me?

Well, I just let them come to me.

I sift through them as a prospector sifts the gold out of a stream.

I am a connoisseur, I taste women as if they were refined wines.

I am womanizing for Jesus, and don't you ever forget that.

You could always convert to Mormonism.

If you get high enough in the afterlife hierarchy (which conveniently correlates to how well you serve the Mormon church...) you can become the god of your own planet near the Kolob star system and make lots of spirit babies with your celestial wives!

The thing is, you aren't coming across as sweet even if that is what you want. Part of the problem of conveying emotions in written text is that it is impossible to use facial expressions, tone of voice, and so on, therefore what you write is more open to misinterpretation. Also, statments such as these:

Abraham wrote:

Quote:

Quote:

are fairly offensive, even if they are true. The one about being superior comes across as downright arrogant, even though in a real conversation it might have been treated as logical and casual.

Unfortunately a lot of the people here won't interpret what you say in the way you'd like, because the way you write is too direct. Compare these two statements:

"I love your red dress; it exactly matches your gums."
"I love your red dress; it really suits you."

The first one is socially unacceptable, even if it is true. No girl will want to hear their beautiful dress compared with something so unworthy of praise. It devalues their decision in choosing it. An equivalent would be, "I love your brown coffee mug; it's the same colour as poo." The second option is fine, even desirable. Telling someone their dress suits them not only shows that you like the dress, but also that you think she made a good decision in choosing it, AND that it looks good on them. Bonus points all round. :D I know it doesn't make sense to have to rephrase what you think, but it is totally necessary in most social situations.

I hope this helps. :)

I'm all about peace and love. :flower: But sometimes I am too blunt, you're right.

Then please understand when you get some negative replies. Not all of us are trying to be nasty, though. :)

Fair enough, but I'll always fight back when someone's having a go at me.

Nobody respects someone who lets other people walk all over them.

I'm most certainly not a 'douche bag'.

But you might be, for all I know. :D
