I had a huge crush on my ex-boss. He told me the advice he had been given when he first started working there, when he had to travel a lot to the Buenos Aires office (and believe me, it seems like just about everybody in Buenos Aires is gorgeous): "Don't s**t where you eat". In other words, keep your sex life out of your work life. I got the message. Maybe your young admirers would get the message, too. Best luck.

Your boss seems to have been an INTELLIGENT MAN! These losers I work with don't seem to understand that concept as they seem obsessed with knowing the personal details of other people where I work. Then they want to justify it by saying that we're supposed to be personal with each other. Like HELL!

I personally don't want to know ANYthing about the SEXUAL nature of ANYbody in my office.

Sometimes it works though. I dated a lady at work who was working for me, and that survived beyond the job. Though it was a huge strain on us when we worked and lived together.....we were really in each other's pockets. We had a baby together and after that she got a job somewhere else, which ended any work-related issues, though apart from the scary amount of time we had to spend together, I didn't notice any particular problems with the arrangement. We went through rough patches together but we didn't let it affect our work.
