@Erisad: What have you tried to do to find a man you like? I'm sure it wouldn't be so hard, especially if you're female, and especially if you're cute! But you're young, at least, and as I'm certain you know, men love youth in women. Why don't you try finding an older man? Shouldn't be too difficult for someone your age, I believe, and if you've already tried it and it didn't work, well, try again. There are plenty of men out there, and almost certainly one who'd be willing to love you.
I don't know. I usually ask out those who give me a butterfly-flutter feeling. This isn't too many people. Guys don't ask me out so I always have to take the first step. During the school year, I'd go out with my friends 1 to 2 times a week to a restaurant or bar. It depends on how much work I have to do. But what guy in his right mind would ask me out? I weigh half as much as an NFL line-backer. Chubby-chasers don't exist in college.

At home, I don't do anything but surf online dating sites and that's it. I don't have friends in my home area because everyone from high school either hates me or is too busy to hang out with me. Mom isn't confident in dating sites so she'll probably ban me from meeting anyone I find.

I don't want to be offensive, but it seems your mother has a
way too tight grip on your life. Have you tried getting yourself a job? If you got that, you could probably get yourself an apartment, and sweet release from your mother's clutch! You shouldn't be browsing dating sites, you should try to get yourself a job, and an apartment, and through this, independence. Really, it seems like your mother is the greatest obstacle in your life right now, from what I've read, and you should try to get independent of her before you set your sights on acquiring a man. Man, I'm 18, you're 21, and I'm already moving out to my own apartment this very month! Granted, I've got a lot of support, primarily from my very own mother, but you, who have already completed highschool, should have better prospects at being hired than me, and mine are pretty good!
Honestly, just try to become independent, and I'm sure your life would improve drastically!
