@Erisad: What have you tried to do to find a man you like? I'm sure it wouldn't be so hard, especially if you're female, and especially if you're cute! But you're young, at least, and as I'm certain you know, men love youth in women. Why don't you try finding an older man? Shouldn't be too difficult for someone your age, I believe, and if you've already tried it and it didn't work, well, try again. There are plenty of men out there, and almost certainly one who'd be willing to love you.

I don't know. I usually ask out those who give me a butterfly-flutter feeling. This isn't too many people. Guys don't ask me out so I always have to take the first step. During the school year, I'd go out with my friends 1 to 2 times a week to a restaurant or bar. It depends on how much work I have to do. But what guy in his right mind would ask me out? I weigh half as much as an NFL line-backer. Chubby-chasers don't exist in college. :(

At home, I don't do anything but surf online dating sites and that's it. I don't have friends in my home area because everyone from high school either hates me or is too busy to hang out with me. Mom isn't confident in dating sites so she'll probably ban me from meeting anyone I find. :(

I don't want to be offensive, but it seems your mother has a way too tight grip on your life. Have you tried getting yourself a job? If you got that, you could probably get yourself an apartment, and sweet release from your mother's clutch! You shouldn't be browsing dating sites, you should try to get yourself a job, and an apartment, and through this, independence. Really, it seems like your mother is the greatest obstacle in your life right now, from what I've read, and you should try to get independent of her before you set your sights on acquiring a man. Man, I'm 18, you're 21, and I'm already moving out to my own apartment this very month! Granted, I've got a lot of support, primarily from my very own mother, but you, who have already completed highschool, should have better prospects at being hired than me, and mine are pretty good!

Honestly, just try to become independent, and I'm sure your life would improve drastically!

Tiggurix - She does. Not that she'll admit it. I lost my job back in May so I have no money. I'll be going back to school soon so I won't be able to maintain a job until I graduate college next spring. Then lord knows how long it'll take before I have enough money to get a place of my own. Besides, I can't drive. So the idea of leaving seems impossible. :(

@JohnisBlind - At my age, my grandmother had her first child already and my mom was dating my dad. Mom got married at age 22 and had my brother and I around ages 24-26. I forget. Since my dating experience is fickle, the chances of me getting married when they'd like me to are very slim. Also, good men don't exist at college. They're all horndogs. The end. >.>

Actually dating sites are the most efficient way of meeting people who are also looking to find people.

@JohnisBlind: Perhaps they are, but you're missing my point. The point is that she needs to become independent before she should try to get a man, to improve her life in general and thus increasing her chances at finding a good guy.

@Erisad: As with many other things, it's only impossible if you believe it to be so. Besides, why is it so important to know how to drive? I'm doing fine with busses and my bicycle.

But you don't know enough about Erisad to make that judgment.

Although its not easy, getting away from your parents is needed if you want to change your life. The only reason I was such a late bloomer was because I lived there until I was 24. I've grown more in the last year than I have in my whole life, hell, I hadn't even had an orgasm until last year because I was too embarassed to masturbate in my parents house!

I'm sure most people can tolerate the light topic of masturbation, if not, you get weirded out too easily. :P

Masturbation. Not enough songs have been devoted to the subject IMO.

You continue to astound me with your cluelessness. Masturbation is just something you do, it's not something amazing such as being head over heels in love with another person.

If you couldn't masturbate you'd be writing blues songs.

They say masturbating too much can cause you to go blind.

@JohnisBlind: Unless you were missing your arms, legs and genitalia, and perhaps even then, you'd be able to masturbate. If someone don't want to masturbate, it's a choice they make, and therefore not really deserving of pity.

@Seanmw: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Exactly! Besides, my hands stay cleaner this way. ^_^

I still suggest you practice it, for reasons previously mentioned. Besides, it's even easier for women to masturbate inconspicuously than men, according to what I've heard.

Maybe when I'm older. XD
