This is awful but I want a mate that will relieve me of the need of paying any attention to anybody. I want some kind of bodyguard so I can be totally myself in spite of anybody or anything. And what do I have to offer? Um, I can make people laugh. :?

Able to handle conflict without breaking down or lashing out and doesn't see people as tools just to fill a void or pass the time with. Preferably old school nerdy, into things like mathematics, computer science, science fiction, etc. Understands sarcasm and can appreciate a range of humor, or at least not get offended. Writers and introverts get brownie points.

Ditto on the nerdy thing. I like a good computer science nerd with a quirky sense of humor. My humor is very dry and sarcastic- some people would call it "British" but I don't think they understand what British humor is.
I think intelligence is sexier than physical attractiveness because physicality gets old after a while. That's just my two cents.

I changed my mind about what I wanted after awhile & swung the opposite way & wanted someone who was needy/clingy & affectionate. But most of all I just wanted someone who would give me a real chance & actually try to make a relationship work with me. I found someone on this forum who met all that & we've been living together about 3 years now.

1. Attraction between the both of us
2. Shares some of the same interests as me
3. Knows how to shoot or is at least open to the idea of firearms or hunting
4. Be quite a lady but tough when she needs to be
5. Semi conservative or at least not a completely obnoxious liberal/democrat or "feminazi" (not saying all liberals or democrats are bad, but I have come across a few rude ones...)
6. Doesn't have to wear makeup all the time but doesn't mind a little pampering here and there
7. Loves to play video games or at least open to learning how to play
8. Omnivore
9. Doesn't mind me taking over the cooking every now and then
10. Loves to cuddle and is fun to be around and is very understanding
11. Willing to accept me and my tastes in music weather it is Ragtime, big band/swing, Rockabilly, hard rock, metal
12. knows how to build things. I want to be a mechanical engineer and it would be cool to be with a woman who likes to build stuff.
13. Isn't afraid to show emotions and is able to talk to me about her problems.
14.Wouldn't mind getting married and having a family
I realize this list is quite long, but I am still young and a guy could dream!

When I mentioned the term "feminazi" I was referring to today's 3rd wave/tumblr/Miley Cyrus/"hey that guy is sitting on the bus with his legs spread apart I choose to get offended over nothing MUH PATRIARCHY" type of feminism. My Great Grandmother was an Aircraft Mechanic in World War II and was quite the tough woman and is far more empowering than most of today's public figures.

SORRY TO SORT OF MAKE THIS SLIGHTLY POLITICAL AT THE END i CAN'T HELP IT SOMETIMES... :?

Someone who understands me, has a good sense of humor, likes the same kind of things I do, reads a lot, understands Asperger's, maybe a cat person, and loves me for being me.
