"Male lesbian" has nothing whatsoever to do with how one "makes love" or wants to make love-
it refers to a man who identifies as a man biologically, (cisgendered)
is attracted to women sexually, (heterosexual)
yet identifies more with female ways of being and communicating than his own sex.

i heared of this concept before; but it doesn't really have to do with gender identification.
a 'male lesbian', is someone that is attracted to woman, feels like a man, but behaves lieka women in the dating scene.
exactly for this confucion, the community that coined it (it comes from the love-shy community), prefers the term 'passive male', as to not be mistaken for a transgender of some sort

Maybe Talmer Shockley's advice is meant well, but the guy lost his virginity to a prostitute at age 30, and he doesn't mention anything about being married, in a long-term relationship or having unpaid sex.

I am convinced that I am a male lesbian. I have always felt female on the inside and have found myself feeling different to most guys and yet I am attracted to females. I am extremely passive and quite submissive. I had a crush on a girl once and I told a male friend about it and he said that I was talking about it in the exact same way that a woman would.

there was a character on The L Word that was "a lesbian identified male" ( one of Alice's dates iirc )...

Incidentally, I've always referred to my feminine side as my lesbian side, my inner lesbian....or my extremely sapphic feminine side lol
I've even been know to joke "I'm not gay, but my feminine side is"
