I wish I could meet more aspie women. Some of the women here are just adorable. but there's not many aspie groups near me. If there are aspie women I already know, they aren't open about their condition.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the OP has better luck with NTs. I have a hard time talking to a lot of aspies. Most of the "aspie" aspies I meet are so childish it's like you can't even have a conversation with them, so maybe he shouldn't look for somebody with a DX and just focus on who he clicks with?

you mean the whole 'men/women have it hardest!!' thing?

Yeah. And the subject of money has come up between them, with accusations of women being over concerned with material gains, and men for not having ambition. I think it comes down to anger on both sides, but that's just me.

Well it's nice to know I'm not alone ( here) I presume I'm not in a minority when I say Meh to ambition and money. :)

"It is egotism that fuels vanity and ambition, egotism that leads us into the insidious cycle of comparison and longing, envy and need that Rousseau believes ..."

His right you know....

Successful people until proven otherwise I think vacuous coke heads , not saying all successful people are drug users though their sure a lot of the mighty / or mighty who have fallen who are are / where heavy drug users.

As well most successful people have to give up most of their life to become successful unless nepotism plays a factor,
The only reason I want to make money and be successful is to find a potential suitor, get married, love, be loved, not worry about things. Otherwise I would be living in the rain-forest or an an exotic beach somewhere, living off the land.

Good luck in finding one, let alone dating one.

This is true. In order to even have a moderate success (in academic/occupational areas) I have had to give up a lot, and don't get me started on social areas, where there's not much in the way of success. And even when you have moderate success, you still have to worry...only the most highly successful don't (and except for the few extremely lucky and/or extremely talented (usually BOTH), there's usually nepotism involved there).

It use to be a bit different, people had more free time, retired earlier, people worked 9-5, the government has hedged, shorted, bankrupted, sold, merger ed and hospitalized the proverbial American dream. Time for Revolution!! !
