Alan Rickman in "Truly, Madly, Deeply" and (oddly enough) the Harry Potter movies.
my daughter thinks he is quite grand (and my mother did also). something about his speech, mannerisms, and approach to acting is quite wonderful. i really like his nose a lot.
He is really enjoyable to watch as an actor (very funny in Dogma). And yes, I completely agree - his speech and mannerisms, his vocal inflections....he's very unique. There's a scene in one of the Harry Potter movies where he says a very simple line, "Not so quick, Mr. Potter." The way he says it is so....I don't know....deliberate....he's quite intriguing. Why, you're no Debbie Downer at all.
He was great in Sense and Sensibility as well...although I feel Alan Rickman should never be blonde ever again. >.<
I agree with you ladies on Alan Rickman. I even know exactly which scene in Harry Potter that is! I love his cadence and the mellifluousness (?) of his voice. Even in Die Hard, when he was the bad guy and snide most of the time (oh and that HILARIOUS scene of him doing his American accent!).
