I went to college and am working in an office now and I wasn't popular in high school. College is a very valuable experience, academically and socially. I grew so much as a person there I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

Um I think he means men. :)

I kinda like Loner because he often takes the words out of my mouth , his the only person here I can relate to :)

I didn't know you were quoting somebody. Shows how tired I am.

You too!?

We should start a support group.

Yes we should. I need someone that understands what it's like to not have the ability to fly.

I also went to college, and not only do I work in an office, but I have both an R&D and production staff working for me. Without college, I'd just be one of them, taking orders from someone like me.

It's good to be Boss.

In all seriousness, I was thinking just today one reason I'm such a failure in relationships is I'm no good at "sucking up" or stroking egos. Even if I think it, I can't say it because it feels weird.

Same. I can joke about that sort of thing, but I can't say it seriously. It's... unnatural to me.

I need to change my answer to "maybe I do suck after all"

Yet another rejection has triggered a "WTF is wrong with me" crisis... :(

Aww :-(

I suck because my sister's friend was throwing himself at me over the weekend and I was too oblivious to get it. I just walked away and meditated in a secluded area. :?

I only compliment when it doesn't feel awkward, which does happen but it's rare.

If he's your sister's friend, then it's salvageable, right? :)

I have no idea.

My sister told me afterwards that she'd shared some of my poetry with him long before he met me. I have to wonder if I lived up to the image he had in his head.... :?
