I'm 21, have a great job and live alone, I don't judge my appearence but I'm not the nerdiest looking person you'll see, and girls don't talk to me.
That could be explained by the fact that even though some members may have some trouble admitting money and status arent most girls priorities nowadays.
No, it means he probably does not display the fact that he lives on his own and has good pay.
If he starts wearing good clothes (wear bussiness casual all the time rather than tshirts and jeans), invests in things like a nice car and home/apt And take time to find elegant (not necessarily expensive) places to take a girl to dinner as well as keep up with events he may take a girl to (theatre, concerts, etc) ....
he will see a noticeable improvement in how females perceive him. Girls dont normally initiate contact so he has to.
Its not to show off that he has money to splurge but rather that he is willing to invest in things. That to her says this guy is financially stable and comfortable spending and investing...which is one of the things all women really consider attractive in deciding whether to talk to or have a relationship with a guy.
Coming from someone that has lived at a golf course for over 10 years and has no issue mentioning that he lives at a golf course(most people havent heard of the place) has worn most of the good clothes out there... I can assure you that this kind of things added to my shyness that made it almost impossible for me to approach others only makes most of the people I meet believe that I have some sort of superiority complex and need to display my superiority at all times(those that actually get to know me realize of their mistake pretty soon btw).
I dont know about how things go there but a superiority complex is one of the biggest turnoffs around here.

Now, even if I took all this advice, I still have a couple problems: I'm pale-skinned, have freckles, and brown eyes. Yeah, I could work on getting a tan for the first thing (though I burn easily
lol what? now brown eyes are a turn-off to women too?!
As my uncle says "everything can be seen as a distraction when one doesnt want to study".
SadAspy is focused on blaming women for all his trouble and hopefully one day he´ll change his attitude and realize that he needs to work on himself before he can get into a stable relationship
i know, but i would just love to see how he can justify brown eyes as a negative thing.
Green eyes and blue eyes are considered more attractive. Don't deny it. You didn't even bother rebutting anything else I said, so even if you disagree with the eyes thing, you know everything else I said is true.
I have brown eyes and I have never noticed any problems. I also like geeky clothes on men : l

It depends on the region, green and blue eyes are considered more attractive (than brown and black) in the middle-east because they're very rare while it would be the contrary in the Scandinavian countries.

Yeah fair enough, but in America and similar countries like here it's different as it's so 50/50. I've never even taken into account the eye colour of any of the guys I've dated. In fact, I care so little that I can't even REMEMBER the eye colour of the first guy I dated. I've also crushed on people with all coloured eyes.
It seems to me he's trying to find excuses why people don't like others to avoid changing or improving himself so he can keep blaming other people.
The money and bad boy thing was ridiculous. But this eye thing is beyond insanity. It's likely one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in my life.

A bit of off-topic, but since we're talking about eyes' colors, I've noticed that I never recall the eyes' colors of my colleagues, coworkers and people I know in real life, even after knowing them in a while.
It's like, it's so often someone tells me in some random conversation "....do you remember that green-eyed guy we saw the other day?" , and I be like "he has green eyes?", and they often get puzzled how I didn't notice that, It happens A LOT. When I am asked to describe someone, I usually never recall their eye's recalls and I often don't notice the people's eye colors in people without someone mentioning about it.

Yes, I'm the same, really.

Well, here blue eyes (and green eyes, but blue are even rarer) is considered an attractive feat , but only a minor one. I often hear parents who just had a newborn "he/she has blue eyes!!" in great joy, but most of those 'blue eyes' change up later to a more common color tho, ha! ;p Allah is trolliest.
and in the previous older generations (grandmas' era), it was widely believed that blue eyes have magical properties and can turn their envies to curses
That only proves its rarity in the area.

Yes, I know they're rare in your area. It's just the exotic appeal again. But in the United states, The UK, Australia and New Zealand it's normal to have a more even mix of eye colours.
actually, no. last i checked i am female, and it is not in any way a deciding criteria for me, nor do i find that attractive. i prefer men who can take care of me emotionally, and his money is just money (if he has any!). his earning potential is not a concern as i earn my own dollars.
so if a very good looking guy that cant hold a job that you like asks you to marry you and have his kids and an average looking guy that has a triple income digit income and owns his own home who you also like also asks to marry you and have kids with you... which would you choose?
remember, its marriage and kids.
that's what the study was about.

i was the major breadwinner in my household for many years. he took care of me (and out child) in other ways. he was a philosopher, an artist, an indie filmmaker, an awesome househusband and father.
and i don't care about how other people perceive looks. i have liked a wide variety of men, and not all of them were men that other people considered good-looking. but they were handsome to me.
it is not a situation that most people face - having two people simulataneously ask them to get married. i'd have to know them personally to know how i'd react. i care for the person involved, not the circumstances that surround them.
