Many Americans eat processed foods or fast foods, they also lead party lifestyles of smoking and drinking, this could be a factor in why they age quicker. Europeans look younger because we eat organic natural foods and tend not to drink in excess, it just depends on how you look after yourself.

Right, I didn't catch this one. I really don't understand this comment. I mean, last time I checked, Ireland, France, Russia, UK, etc... are considered European countries. And other European nations drink as much. Granted, I don't know how much Americans drink, but it's safe to assume Europeans win here.
PS- I assume "to drink" means "drink alcohol beverages". If it has other meanings, I apologize.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/1 ... 15747.htmlThis article claims that it costs binge drinking in America around $224 billion a year, there's a difference between drinking in large amounts responsibly and drinking dangerously which can be costly to the economy, productivity, well being and the national health service. In some countries, the alcohol industry makes more than it loses.

You are absolutely correct when it comes to food, I never realized what a vast difference there was in this respect until I actually started travelling in Europe. I would say that eating junkfood is America's #1 form of entertainment.
I don't know why for certain but I have heard that Americans tend to age quicker. It could be the environment, pollution, diet or other factors but I definitely think one of the common reasons for aging quicker is eating processed food and drink instead of natural organic foods. Hormones in certain types of food can cause people to develop and age faster, it has been rumored that fast food also contain hormones in them.
Smoking is more common in the United States than the United Kingdom but it seems drinking is more popular here, smoking is definitely a factor in aging. Tanning is also another factor of aging, I was watching a Television show about elderly people in Miami and they had wrinkled dry skin from too much Vitamin D.
