While I'm sure I could come up with a list, I think it'd be moot point to follow it to the letter. Most of the time where I say there's a particular trait that turns me off I always find someone who's an exception. Not to mention, I'd like to keep my options pretty open (within reason, of course).

That's what annoys me so much about extreme left wingers. Anyone who doesn't agree with them entirely is labelled as siding with the right and in this country they spend all their time forever attacking the opposition (in the UK's case, David Cameron & the Conservatives/Coalition) for everything they do whilst failing to acknowledge the faults of whoever it is they so stubbornly support (in their case the headless chicken that is Ed Milliband and the clueless Labour party)

I'd never say I was a left-winger, but I do believe in idealist politics and not people and media management.
Ed Milliband seems to say the right things, it's just that he doesn't inspire confidence. His brother does, though. I find the fact Ed was chosen over his brother bizarre.

there all careerists who dont give a crap about people, its doesnt matter which party is in power their policies are all pretty similar.

Ed has just said he will offer those on job seekers a job and if they refuse he will stop their dole for six months, i dont see how that is any better than what cameron says.

But to them he's still the lesser of two evils.

I also agree fully that all politicians are just careerists who are only out for themselves (which is why I refuse to vote for any of them) In a roundabout way that was my original point.

I agree that they are careerists and I do find their motives questionable, but I do find Labour the lesser of two evils and closer to my own politics than any Conservative.
