Something to ponder... if you consider yourself so damaged or irresponsible that you'd make a horrible parent, you might want to consider doing some self-improvement just to improve your own life - childless or not. ;)

I wouldn't mind a baby <1 year old or >10. But not sure how I feel about the 9 years inbetween. In the end I think I want one still. Its not up to me sadly, I have to find a mate who likes me enough to have children and doesn't mind the higher rust of them being autistic since aspergers is hereditary. Not gonna be easy as I can only barely find a 'mate' who left because she didn't like me.

I don't want children either. I have a niece that is 2.5 years old and her presence only confirms this belief. I would hate to raise a child in this immoral cesspool they call society anyways!

That would be nice. If only I could get out of the abusive situation I live in, I might be able to switch from survival mode to healing mode. :wall:

What kind of situation are you in that you can't escape? I can't tell by the pic if you're over 18 but are you not able to get some sort of job and a tiny place of your own?
I hope you're able to escape!

The situation is quite complicated, no I can't escape it. And I am 22, my age is right under my pic.

Getting married and having children are the only two things I've been sure about my entire life.

I absolutely love babies and toddlers and can get along with them great. They literally run up to me in public all the time and in the case of those that talk, open right up to me, telling me all about their hopes, dreams and even make comments that blow my mind such as mentioning past lives or lecturing to me like a grandmother 8O I just watched a 3 year old girl design something today with blocks that literally made me go over and tell her how jealous I was of her superior intelligence. It was something most adults wouldn't know how to do including me and I wouldn't believe a child made it had I not saw with my own two eyes. I'm one of the few men who's not afraid to express this in public although many still have old fashioned ideas that's it's inappropriate for a man to smile or wave at children and give dirty looks just because of my gender but thankfully they are increasingly rare.

Having said all that, I'm 29 now and would love to have kids (finding a decent woman is the hard part) but if you were to ask me at 25 I wouldn't be sure and at 20 I would have said NO WAY!! Even though I loved children I thought I would make a terrible father but I have been assured hundreds of times that would not be the case. Bottom line to the younger members is to just keep an open mind and never say definitely yes or no to children at your age.

Cool. That means there will be fewer people in the world, right?
