"You're still young" doesn't fill me with confidence. My social life and abilities have consistently gone downhill, to the point that at the age of 20 my social prospects are zero, and no woman has ever found me even remotely attractive or interesting. I don't need to wait another 30 years to know how empty my future is.

I have no intention of making a fool of myself for another 40 years. The only realistic dream I have left is an early and painless death.

I was as inept at ending my life as I was/am at living my life. premature quietus is fraught with pitfalls. I am reminded of this little ditty-

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.
