I guess someone who would put up with me to put it simply, and they would have to have some similar interests so we could try to enjoy activities together(just going to assume if I get with a guy they'd likely have enjoyment preventing mental issues as well).

well it feels that way , I've been been told I'm richer than I think I am , I own my own home out right so I'm not totally rubbish I suppose

You making pumpkin pie ?

LOL change it just as I ask looks like your about to make babies ?

HA!

Not making pumpkin pie OR babies anytime soon, though I'm sure the former will precede the latter when they occur.

Well I'll get around to the former the latter  with this unexpected cold weather where having at the moment I could do with a warm pumpkin pie , with soyatoo whipping cream being from Germany it was fantastic and as unbelievable as it may sound it actually whips and stays stiff  truely jaw dropping it tasted nice and wasn't massively overpriced just moderately so

You should try it some time though for whatever reasons the soy cream in the can un-germaincally jams and you have to bin it. Try it you wont be disappointed unlike many ready to consume vegan products.

I'll think about it and reply later, but in regards to the above, two out of three of those actually deter me, and depending what you meant by the third, it can deter me also.

yeah sure women date poor guys

Sure, why not?

When I see it than I'll believe it, you'll have to look to the George Coztanza shirt, actually that was the funniest episode ever the "you can do better than him" episode , painfully ordinary unfunny salesmen is about to be engaged to a hot and funny Dr women, she breaks it off after that insulting comment made by George , for what ever reasons she goes back to him , only in the movies.

My ex was penniless (I often paid for the meals and entertainment, if we went out), but he is a truly wonderful person, I wish him well and have no regrets of anything. We were together for 2,5 years.

Thank you... Nattou was good, as well as sukiyaki, okonomiyaki and maguro straight from the Tsukiji fish market... Japan has a lot of wonderful experiences to offer, let me know if you need some hints for travelling there :)

If you're not hurting anyone and it makes you happy, why not?

I earned a bit more than my ex (who I still adore), which didn't bother me one bit, but it did bother him!

I've never dated anyone with much wealth to speak of... one guy asked me out on a date before I knew anything about him and he turned out to be extremely wealthy but as much chemistry as we had, he was marriage minded and wanted to have kids someday. He offered to take me to Cancun on a whim and I declined and ended things there.

He was looking for a woman who was seeking a rich husband. There is nothing wrong with two people getting together because they have common goals. If you want a woman who is looking for a rich guy, build up some wealth. If not, why be bitter that women you have little in common with aren't interested in you?

I don't get it.

Even if there's little in common, it's still company and cuddling ;)

This is indeed true, but if there is no explanation for where a huge chunk of money goes it normally rings alarm bells. It shows signs of a debt problem or inability to manage money, or consider treating anyone besides one's self. In the case of living on the breadline like you suggested, I would hope people would be a lot more forgiving :)

Kindness, humility, gentleness, self-respect, patience, curiosity, a youthful outlook. Intellect, some kind of talent for or appreciation of the arts, fondness for cats, and good looks are secondary.
