Not so much these days.

I've got a lot of problems with my teeth and lost a bunch of weight thanks to a bout of severe anxiety, so I'm having some issues with my self-confidence as of late. There are days when I'm fairly confident, but that usually stems from the superficial (hair products, makeup, clothing, etc.) It's been a while since I've felt confident about myself without having to put a ton of effort into it.

Confidence comes both from within and from how I look. But not to others...to myself. I always struggled with this, I have for a large part of my life, felt inadequate. I started listening to those who cared, and they were saying I wasn't making the best of what I had. Again, both in personality and looks. I took that on board.

I think everyone can make the best of what they have. Some have more difficulty with this, than others.

At this stage in my life, I am comfortable with (most of) how I look. The rest I am still working on. It's always a work in progress. Having a wounded soul makes it harder to focus on confidence.

But I have faith I will get there. :)

Have a good weekend everyone.
