Even the guy with only two messages looks rather handsome (no homo). This only proves that online dating is not the man's market...

Coming from an ugly guy (look at the avatar on the left - that is me), I really don't worry about whether a woman likes me for my looks or not. Beauty fades with age, but kindness, morals, and personality does not. Also, money comes and goes. So, it all boils down to chemistry and whether or not the woman likes you for you, and vice versa. I just live my life, and when it happens or if it happens, I'm not worried.

First off, you have to remain optimistic no matter what. You have to be realistic of course but too much negativity destroys your soul.


I'm not going to say looks don't matter at all because they do. They're not everything of course but you don't want to wear baggy clothes and have uncombed hair out in public.

Remember one thing, you can always make yourself more attractive. For instance, invest in some new clothes and maybe comb your hair. Also if you're very overweight, you could try losing some weight.


A first impression matters a lot so when you talk to women, remember to smile and portray confidence in your voice. A good way to know you're not portraying confidence if you're talking like you're asking questions or you are mumbling.

The reason why you smile is because that lets people know you're friendly and a nice guy. Remember most people don't know you very well so you have to be friendly to people. If you're more friendly, they're more likely to look past your flaws.

A lot of people I know avoid smiling because they are shy of their teeth, but really, I'd rather see a friendly smile with stained or crooked teeth than an awkward half-smile, it makes the person seem less friendly and trustworthy right off the bat.
