I find it interesting how you say that..I find it important that a person speaks Spanish even if they are not Hispanic themselves..I'm not reminded of my family..

..but I would like to say how it makes me think of a component of socializing which I have always struggled with. Which isn't family. Friends. Making friends.

That and a 'idyllic prospect' of being of a community which doesn't quite have the same demographics here than say in Texas or California.

Determined means 100% - no other influences. Predisposition means it's a contributing factor but not responsible for 100% of the end result.
