Wait, you're not autistic? :P

I'm not sure I believe all this talk about being backwards, come on, what other country only had gay bars at the time?

Why did I immediately remember this?

Maybe it would be interesting to know of what kind of nightclubs we are talking about.
There are some major differences.

I don’t wanna know how many thousands of francs I would’ve saved if I let other men pay the alcohol I was drinking when going out.

You get better and better. <sigh>

Just flirting, here.
I like to flirt.

Oh well..

<comfort>
You will find some,
I am totally convinced of that.
Not better,
But more than adequate.

I meant you will find "someone".
I was joking that no one is better than me.
I'm better than all the rest.

It *is* true,
But I am too modest to push the fact. <joke>

I dated Tina Turner for a while. <joke>
She wrote this song for me.
She was so very clingy.

She sang:
Quote:
You're simply the best, better than all the rest
Better than anyone, anyone I ever met
I'm stuck on your heart, I hang on every word you say
Tear us apart, baby, I would rather be dead

So, so clingy.

I am still convinced "Nightclubs" are "Meat Markets".
But I am merely speculating here because I have only seen people walk in and out of them and watched movie events.

Its funny because my experience of nightclubs in Australia from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s was that the women would come in groups (either girls night out or mixed group of men and women) and protect each other from single men. Never met a male who picked up in nightclubs but I am sure it happened.

My recollection is girls who got drunk in pubs/bars who went of with a guy they didn't know were called slappers. There were groups I was aware of (and occasionally mixed with) where girls would sleep men from clubs but they always seem to know these men (what I called Fubus). I think Australian girls weren't that adventurous those days to have one night stands with total strangers?

It's possible clubs changed in the 2000s and it became more of a meat market due to the influence of hip-hop culture?. Somebody younger might be able to answer that question.

Like I said,
I am only speculating since I never went to them.
I'll take your word for it. <shrug>
I don't consider that one time Goth experience was a nightclub situation.

Nightclubs want women more than they want men.

Think about it, why do men go to nightclubs? Sure they want to party, but they also want to meet girls and get laid. Nightclub owners know this, that's why they offer incentives for women to go to these clubs. They'll let women get in for free or they'll make it to where women pay less for drinks.

Because if women go to the clubs, then the men will follow them. If there are no women, then men will be less likely to come.
