I don't think hair color matters much. There doesn't seem to be a strong general preference in one direction, obviously individuals have their own preferences.

Most real blonds have blue eyes, there seems to be a genetic link.

When I spot a blonde with dark eyes....I usually bet it's dyed.

That's usually right bat there are exceptions. My son is blonde but has dark brown eyes. My daughter is blonde and has green eyes. They are kind of bluish with a light brown ring in the middle that does mix to a green. 8O
My hairs are ash blond but may become light blonde if sun and salt water are bleaching them.

My eyes are bluish-gray like the ones of Katy Perry but I don't wearing mascara as well. For this I can't double her.

Blue eyes and black hair, black eyes and blue hair? I'm open to any colour.

Quite the opposite of me. I'm open to the golden color of a nice blonde beer only now and I hope it has no hairs at all. :drunken:

There are more blonde people with brown eyes than you think—though most blondes do have blue eyes.

My lover (male) has natural blond hair and brown eyes.

There seems to be a concensus that men prefer blondes, that it is sexier, and many brunettes dye their hair blonde for this reason. As long as the woman feels good with herself I see no harm in that. It's fun to experiment and change your "look".

I don't have a significant preference.
Redheads do stand out to me, no flirtation intended.

I have brown hair.
My father's hair stayed brown until the day he died.
Looks like I will be the same.

I am not sure I like that.
It is hard to be a white wizard, like Gandalf, with brown hair, right?

I have a preference for long hair, but short hair can be very attractive, also, dependant on the person.

Blond(e) and ginger hair is recessive, as are blue and green eyes. Certain physical traits typically cluster together. For example, freckles are related to the genes responsible for ginger hair. Even if it does not physically manifest (i.e. you do not have ginger hair) if you have freckles then you are hosting the genes for ginger hair and somewhere down your bloodline (that is, if it doesn't end) this trait (red hair) will likely crop up.

Would it be correct to surmise you have Celtic ancestry, somewhere?

I'm not easily impressed. 8)

So blonde(s) with brown eyes can indeed exist naturally. Typically, a fairly reliable way to tell if hair is dyed is to check a person's eyebrows. Usually with natural blond(e)s, their eyebrows are also blond(e). Eyelashes can also be an indicator.
Here, a lot of natural blondes dye their eyebrows dark and use mascara on daily basis.

Yep.

I prefer natural blondes to dye/colour the eyebrows a shade of brown, rather than black.

You did, recently, just before you went on a break.
I missed out seeing them by mere hours. :(

Yeah, it's fairly uncommon (blond(e) with brown eyes). I do seem to be an unusual one, especially when you also consider my left-handedness, but that's another topic. :P

Blond(e) in general tends to get darker with age, many lose it completely in adulthood and it becomes brown.

I have heard that too. 8)

Generally speaking, yes. Just like how white men prefer blonde women over other hair colors. You preferred blonde, right? A LOT of women prefer dark hair and olive complexions. Anglo women go NUTS over men from the middle east and the mediterranean. Everybody hooks up...eventually.

As I have mentioned/implied,
I think this was part of the propaganda program to devalue the "Aryan" blonde eyes, blue hair look, after the war.
There was also the suggestion that Hitler's Aryan breeding program created sub-intelligent individuals.

Just a comment,
Not a philosophical/ideological position.
It has more/all to do with understanding human psychology. 8)

REAL eyebrows, right?  Current fashion over here seems to involve permanent removal of the eyebrow hairs, and replacing them with a 'perfectly' sculpted tattoo.

Definitely, real eyebrows!
And I meant men.

Tattoo eyebrows make me uncomfortable.

There is also non-permanent eyebrow "transfers" of some kind.
I might Google some time. 8)
