Wealthy men who aren't married can basically hire a prostitute, sugarbaby anytime they want. They probably want the thrill of having a virgin.

Oh okay, so they want to have a virgin just for the sake of having something different? They will probably end up disappointed by that expirience most likely then.

I'm not a psychologist but there is some type of achievement some men feel if they have "popped the cherry" of a young virgin. It may just be the act rather than pursuit of pleasure.

Kind of like travelling around the world to exotic destinations, not to experience new things but also to just say you have been there, taken a snapshot, buy a souvenir and cross it off your bucket list.

I hated that movie. It's saying that to grow up you have to give your vintage collectables. What nonsense!

It also pushes the idea of no sex before marriage.

What do you mean by 'vintage collectables', in this context?

Is this proof of the gender wage gap?

A four page thread about virgins is the dictionary definition of autism.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss. You will never know the carnal desire of wanting someone unless you have sex, or the intoxicating feelings of love and abandonment if ever you experience that.

So only have sex as a virgin if you are willing to put your mental health at great risk.

its obviously an insult to people who have never had sexual intercourse by a certain age, likely, as in, not by 25 at least.

I don't agree. You can be a virgin & be way more grown up & responsible in many, many ways, than promiscuous people.

Conversely, you will never have had the opportunity to control/taper down powerful emotions, if you are the type of person who gets emotionally attached after sex.

The character in the movie had all these really cool vintage toys. He was a collector. By the end of the movie he had sex and sold all of his vintage toys on ebay as a symbol of his "maturity".

He's migfed with a woman he liked. She obviously doesn't think he's good enough to be her first.

"Well, fine. No one will want you... Ever", he shouts as he stomps off.

He’s addressing to « virgins » without specifying genders but I don’t think women and men generally view virginity in the same way, for women usually “who” takes it is way more important than “when”.

If you read his other thread you'll see what I mean.

He's dripping with destain for her.

I know, because he's failing to see what losing virginity means from typical woman perspective.

Do women really consider loosing their virginity more important than men though? A woman gave her virginity to me and her reaction was like it was trying a new burger at Burger King... it was alright... not bad... doesn't seem like the kind of reaction that says it was important. I also talk to me women friends and they seem to view it the same way, as it was something to cross off the bucket list, but no biggie. Unless the women were hiding their true feelings about it?

Put it this way. There are currently young women auctioning their virginity online for close to a million dollars. And there are men all over the world who are willing to pay.

Conversely no woman in the history of mankind would pay money to access a male virgin as they will not get any pleasure.

What pleasure do men get from virgins? For a million dollars wouldn't they want someone with more experience who is better in the sack so to speak?

Biologically men are attracted to younger women because they are more fertile. It is a product of evolution. Also, vulnerability is a feminine trait. Lack of vulnerability is a masculine trait.

There could also be a situation where the man may want to psychologically revisit his childhood due to some emotional trauma. For example: A man who never had a girlfriend as a teenager.

Also, there is idea that the man is the one and only man because he is the best. He has beaten all the other men in a competition for a princess. As false as that seems, reality at it's core proves otherwise. He is in fact the one and only one to win the princess because there he is. It's antisocial and primal.

I am perfectly fine with experienced women. I just wanted to help explain it for someone who might not get it.

Don't you just love it when there's a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote?
