Why are men threatened by a high body count compared to..?

Well as far as more men being threatened at the idea of a woman cheating if she has a high count, but more women not being bothered by a high count in men, is there evidence to suggest that more guys with a high count can stay faithful more often, in comparison?

Why do you believe the bolded statement is true, and again why do you use the word "threat".

To me, neither a man nor a woman who sleeps with a promiscuous partner can reasonably expect faithfulness, and I expect they generally don't. Like a scorpion, it's in the promiscuous partner's nature.

I think there are gender differences toward body count. Women naturally are drawn toward successful men so in that algorithm they become more tolerant toward the male's previous high body count based on how well the man can provide for them and the higher their social status.

That makes sense. But are the women turned off of the high body count but tolerate it for the other advantages, or are they actually turned on by the high body count, because that means the man is successful?

There may be some truth to this. The second person I had sex with was probably attracted to me, to some extent, because I had been her school chum's sex partner. A man with an impressive track record can be assumed to have proven his ability to satisfy women. Don't forget, cis gender women who aren't actually on the ace spectrum are horny even if they won't admit to it.

Given that this thread was supposed to be about women with a high body count, I answered this before, but was ignored. The reason such women intimidate men is because most men assume those women have been with other men who are better lays than they are.

Oh sorry I didn't mean to ignore you or anyone, just more responses came in than I anticipated. But if most guys assume this about other guys, when I ask my women friends about it they say things like 'since when do guys care about the woman's pleasure', and things like that. So are a lot of guys selfish and don't care, if that's correct, but therefore, would they still care about a woman's past then?

I wouldn’t give two craps….if I fall madly in love with her.

If I’m not a “better lay” than some other guy, I would try to make myself that “better lay.”

This has to do with physical endowment not skill or attitude.

I am talking about what goes on in a guy's head. Most guys wouldn't want to be humiliated on taking their pants off or after attempting to have sex with a woman who may have a lot of past experiences for comparison.
