The one who said he was moving to Japan.
He was lying.
I never found out what that was about.


We were really close.
I was 15 and he was 18 but in a special school.
I think he was just low IQ.
Such a sweetheart.

This is the year after I lost all my friends (Kris, etc.)









I saw him when my son was about 5, at a kids' birthday party.
His son was there too.
And his wife.

He spotted me from across the room, like in movies.
Really - I'm face blind so I couldn't do that.
He remembered me.

Sigh.
