I don’t know anyone who thinks of age 37 as being middle-aged.

Age 37 was when I got my drivers license.

I consider 30-60 middle-aged.

37 could be middle aged if you live to be 74

Question is: why would a younger woman want me anyway? Why would anyone choose a socially awkward broke overweight loser over someone her own age?

Hopefully you'll be less broke (though you won't be rich) once you get a job as a special ed teacher.

Losing the weight is difficult, but probably possible.

As for social awkwardness, you can compensate for that by being generally interesting. To that end I would suggest, among other things, that you create a blog (on Wordpress.com or Google blogger) about one or more of your interests.

Or, better yet, a blog about your special ed training, experience, and ideas. For example, does what the special ed establishment has taught you make sense? Or do you see ways that it could be improved?

And please try to stop being so obsessed with age. If you happen to meet a woman with whom you have mutual "chemistry," and who is as attractive as you need her to be, don't worry about her age (as long as she's at least of legal age, of course).

Talking of age, I wonder if this thread will keep going after we’re all dead.

No woman over 33 at most is "as attractive as I need her to be".

You’ve never met 60-ish woman Nigella Lawson. Any man would find her hot!

There are some women who maintain their good looks despite their age. That is a fact.

The OP is like a McDonald's manager who complains he can't find workers. But his requirements include speaking 3 languages and having a PhD.

Personally I hope to date women that are around 18 to 21

When did I demand three languages or a PhD?

What if the OP went for foreign women since a lot of Americans say that women who are not raised in the US or Canada but immigrated there, are easier or less of a challenge, or so I hear from guys?
