When someone is years behind the program but acts like they've discovered something new (e.g., if they just discovered the Keto diet and thought this was revolutionary new information that no one else would know.)

When someone says they don't know English so they communicate in nonsensical sentence fragments with the use of cartoon pictures, but the next day they can write fluently somewhere else.

It can lead to entitled and/or self-centred behaviour. It almost inevitably leads to tone-deaf behaviour, even when no malice or intent to be disruptive exists.

I think FXE is referring to self-awareness which leads to empathy and introspection.
I think TP is referring to self-awareness as in narcissism and nefarious forethought.
