And Dutch and Germans are pretty much the same anyway, can't blame the IKEAns for mistaking us. On the other hand, when I was in Denmark I found the Danish pretty similar as well, so for now I'll just assume that all Scandinavians are like Dutch and Germans too.
And being associated with Germans is a good thing, they are the Übermenschen, remember?
If anyone ever talks s**t about the Germans, remember this is from a German composer with a Dutch name (performed by Spaniards I think):

Saab/Speyker went to s**t, but then all businesses eventually go that way. In biological species there is a 99% extinction rate, the same is true for companies. We should call the 2008-today economic crisis a "financial extinction event". The euro is still extant, let's see for how long.

Yeah I don't get all that's going on with the Euro and so, seems like a lot of bad decisions by politicians were made, a lot of hidden crap going on. It's strange apparently we are supposed to be in the Euro, but we get new money this fall, so i doubt our politicians are planning on us joining anytime soon...
